Woman bored in isolation gives herself an 'absolutely terrifying' Homer Simpson tattoo

The coronavirus pandemic has given a lot of people a lot of extra time on their hands. While there are a number of ways to pass the time digitally, such as taking 360° POV rides of Disney attractions while parks are closed, one woman has opted for a much more permanent pastime...

She has given herself an "absolutely terrifying" Homer Simpson tattoo.

Ryan Reynolds recently shared this brilliant coronavirus PSA:

Revealing her terrifying creation on Twitter, Jen Stewart from Scotland wrote: "just gave myself an absolutely terrifying tattoo of homer simpson cause i was bored n now it's sinking in that it's actually stuck on me forever :) cba look at the f**kin state of that."

Needless to say, users of the social media website were delighted by the 22-year-old's creation (albeit in a horrified way), and at the time of writing, it has been liked 71K times since it was posted on March 24.

One user hilariously named the tattoo "Corona Simpson" while another joked that they "would have COVID that up".

Colour was even added to the tattoo on photoshop by a Twitter user who wrote: "i decided this masterpiece needed some photoshop-esque color".

Touchingly, one Twitter user revealed that they've been struggling recently, and Corona Simpson made them "laugh so damn hard".

Jen then kindly replied to the user, saying that she was glad the tattoo helped and adding that her DMs were open if they needed a chat.

But while Jen's tattoo has undoubtedly given a lot of people a much-needed giggle, we definitely don't recommend giving yourself a corona tattoo!
