A police department embroiled in controversy following a sex scandal that saw a cop get fired for sleeping with six of her co-workers is in hot water again after documents revealed texts sent between the police chief and an officer making light of the ordeal.

Patrol officer Meagan Hall of the La Vergne Police Department was dismissed alongside four other officers after an investigation revealed sexual activity occurring on police time and within department buildings, as reported by the Daily Mail.

Police interview transcripts, obtained by WSMV4, revealed that Hall opened up about "girls gone wild" parties, strip UNO, and a hot tub party.

Alongside this, the former officer admitted to engaging in oral sex in a police building as well as taking part in a threesome with Officer Patrick Magliocco and his wife.

Following the investigation Patrol and K-9 Officer Larry Holladay, Patrol Officer Patrick Magliocco, and Patrol Officer Gavin Schoeberl were suspended.

It also came to light that Police Chief Burrel "Chip" Davis was aware of the scandal during the investigation and failed to discipline the officers involved, which resulted in him being fired, as per NBC News.

According to court records obtained by the New York Post, texts were allegedly sent from Chief Davis to other officers where they joked about the situation and made comments about Hall's body.

The documents show that the police chief also shared explicit images of Hall among his colleagues and would often reference her sexual activities with other members of the department.

One text exchange between Davis and Officer Ty McGowan saw an image of Hall shared as the pair joked about her activities involving Sergeant Lewis Powell.

Davis also acknowledged a text sent by McGowan that referred to Hall as having a "tight little a**."

Further text exchanges made it clear that Davis was fully aware of what was happening within his department and appeared to show him panicking in December.

After Hall checked herself into the hospital after having suicidal thoughts, the Police Chief frantically texted McGowan that "all bets [are] off" and that HR had found out about the explicit goings on.

Following Davis' dismissal, the city said in a statement: "The conclusion also states that Davis impeded the initial investigation into sexual misconduct, 'contrary to City policy and permitted — if not encouraged — conduct potentially contrary to state and federal law."

The NBC affiliate WSMV of Nashville reported that Hall filed an Equal Employment Opportunity Commission complaint with the state where she claimed that Chief Davis created an environment where this kind of behavior was actively encouraged.

Following the investigation and widespread interest in the case, Hall has claimed that she was "groomed" by her colleagues.

A new lawsuit, obtained by the Daily Mail, stated: "Where Ms. Hall sought role models at her new job, she instead found predators. In place of offering professional development, her supervisors and the Chief of Police groomed her for sexual exploitation.

"They colluded in using their authority to systematically disarm her resistance and entrap her in degrading and abusive sexual relationships, even sharing tips on the best ways to manipulate and exploit her."

It is also reported that Hall's husband is attempting to salvage their marriage following the scandal.
