As of this writing, no cause of death has been confirmed, but reports state that the Brazilian star died in Los Angeles.

Guilherme Vasconcelos made a name for himself in the competitive realms of MMA with a respectable professional record of 10 wins and 6 losses over a seven-year career.

His journey in the sport included a memorable appearance on The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil, Season 3, which catapulted him onto the international stage. Despite a mixed outcome on the reality series, his potential was evident, leading to a brief stint with the UFC at UFC 175 in July 2014.

Although his time under the UFC banner was short-lived following a unanimous decision loss to Luke Zachrich, it did not deter him from continuing his career in the sport.

After his departure from the UFC, Vasconcelos continued to fight in the regional circuit before signing with Bellator, where he fought six times and maintained an even record of 3-3. His last appearance in the Bellator ring was at Bellator 229 in October 2019, marking the end of an impactful fighting career.

Vasconcelos also garnered media attention for his personal life, particularly his relationship with Grammy-nominated singer Demi Lovato.

The couple's relationship began in 2016 and became a popular topic among fans and celebrity watchers. They were first seen together celebrating New Year's Eve in 2017 and were a frequent subject of the celebrity gossip columns until their split in May 2017.

Although details about Vasconcelos' untimely death remain sparse as of this writing, it was noted that he posted on Instagram from outside a Gracie Barra gym less than 24 hours before his passing was announced.

Vasconcelos leaves behind a young daughter, whom he reportedly shared with model Kayla Lauren.

Following the heartbreaking news, many within the MMA world have taken to social media to pay tribute to the fighter.

"Bomba, thank you for being a part of my journey and for letting me be a part of yours," wrote Jamie Huey. "Our matching team, bad guys, tattoos, they take on new meaning today. Rest in peace, Champ".

Our thoughts go out to Vasconcelos' family, friends, and fans at this time.
