On Tuesday, Romeo shared a photo on Instagram showcasing his latest ink: the phrase "C’est La Vie" etched across his upper shoulder. The French expression, which translates to “that’s life,” was posted without any caption or context, leaving fans to speculate on its deeper meaning.
The timing of the tattoo hasn’t gone unnoticed, coming amid growing speculation about tensions between Brooklyn, 26, and the rest of the Beckham family. Over the past year, Brooklyn has been absent from key family celebrations, and notably did not publicly acknowledge his father David Beckham’s recent knighthood.
In another apparent sign of division, Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz recently unfollowed Romeo and Cruz on social media, a move that fueled rumors of estrangement.
Romeo’s tattoo isn’t the only sign that he may be expressing his feelings through cryptic messages. The root cause of the tension remains unclear, but one theory suggests it may involve Romeo’s former relationship with model Kim Turnbull, who was rumored to have previously dated Brooklyn. Kim later addressed the speculation, saying: “I have never been romantically involved in ANY capacity at ANY point with the person in question.”
