The 40-year-old stand-up comedian kicked off the 82nd annual ceremony, which took place on Sunday (January 5) at Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.

Glaser didn't hold back in her hosting debut as she poked fun at Sean "Diddy" Combs during her 11-minute-long monologue.

Watch the moment below:

Glaser began by mentioning Zendaya's 2024 film, Dune: Part 2, saying: “Zendaya, you were incredible in Dune, oh my God, I woke up for all of your scenes. You were so good."

She then spoke about the 28-year-old's movie, Challengers, quipping that it was "more sexually charged than Diddy’s credit card".

Speaking of disgraced music mogul Diddy, Glaser continued: “I’m sorry, I’m upset too. The after-party isn’t going to be as good this year, but we have to move on."

"'Stanley Tucci freak-offs’ doesn’t have the same ring to it," Glaser brutally added in her monologue. The cameras then cut to the Conclave star visibly cringing as the comedian joked: “No baby oil this year, just lots of olive oil.”

The 55-year-old rapper, formerly known as P.Diddy, was arrested on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering and is accused of hosting alleged "freak-off" sex parties.

According to federal prosecutors, the parties involved women being threatened or coerced into performing grueling sex acts, per the New York Post.

In addition to this, officials also reported that they discovered more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil at Diddy's house after a raid.

Glaser's joke about Diddy sparked a wave of disappointment on social media, with many viewers criticizing the comedian's choice of humor.

“??? I feel like this is not the right kind of joke to make,” one fan wrote on X, while another said: "Diddy jokes will NEVER be funny especially when so many victims have yet to see justice."

A third added: "Who in that writing room thought it was a good idea to include that Diddy joke? That was literally just disgusting."

The comedian was the first woman to host the Globes in its 82-year history.

Before the ceremony, Glaser described her hosting role as “truly a dream job," adding: "Some of my favorite jokes of all time have come from past Golden Globes opening monologues when Tina [Fey], Amy [Poehler], or Ricky [Gervais] have said exactly what we all didn’t know we desperately needed to hear," per The Independent.

"I just hope to continue in that time-honored tradition (that might also get me canceled),” she concluded.
