In a statement released by Tito's three sons, Taj, Taryll, and TJ Jackson, the family expressed their grief, saying: “We are shocked, saddened and heartbroken. Our father was an incredible man who cared about everyone and their wellbeing.”

The sons, who found success as the musical group 3T, also shared a series of family photos on Instagram, adding: "He will be missed tremendously. It will forever be 'Tito Time' for us.

"Please remember to do what our father always preached and that is 'Love One Another.' We love you Pops."

Tito was the older brother of the late "King of Pop" Michael Jackson, and one of the founding members of the iconic Motown group, the Jackson 5.

Alongside his brothers Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael, Tito played guitar and helped the group achieve global stardom.

Formed in 1964, the Jackson 5 quickly rose to fame with their dynamic performances and chart-topping hits like 'I Want You Back,' 'ABC,' 'The Love You Save,' and 'I’ll Be There.'

Just days before his passing, Tito shared a poignant final social media post, paying tribute to his late brother, Michael.

The post, shared on Instagram, featured a photo of Tito alongside his brothers Jackie and Marlon at a memorial for Michael in Munich.

"Before our show in Munich, my brothers Jackie, Marlon, and I visited the beautiful memorial dedicated to our beloved brother, Michael Jackson," Tito wrote.

"We’re deeply grateful for this special place that honors not only his memory but also our shared legacy. Thank you for keeping his spirit alive."

Fans have flooded the comments section with condolence messages.

One person wrote: "RIP legend you’re again with your little brother Michael."

A second added: "Hope you’re with him now, singing and dancing in Heaven."

A third said: "Rest in peace Tito. Thank you for the amazing musical legacy. Rest in peace. Sending love to all the Jackson family."

Tito had been on tour with his brothers Marlon, 67, and Jackie, 73, but had returned to the United States prior to his passing.

Our thoughts continue to be with the Jackson family at this difficult time.
