Kyle Rittenhouse has said he wants to become a lawyer after being acquitted by a Wisconsin jury in his homicide trial.
The 18-year-old from Illinois told Blaze TV podcast You Are Here about his career plans in an interview on Monday.
Last month, Rittenhouse was found not guilty on all counts after he fatally shot two men and injured a third at a Black Lives Matter protest in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
During his three-week trial, the teenager pleaded not guilty to first-degree intentional homicide, first-degree reckless homicide, first-degree attempted intentional homicide, and two counts of first-degree reckless endangerment.
He told Blaze TV hosts Elijah Schaffer and Sydney Watson that his experience in the courtroom had left him feeling inspired.
"I want to be a lawyer. I want to go to law school," said the teenager.
Rittenhouse went on to say that it was his experience with his prosecutors that left him most eager to pursue a legal career.
"Towards the end of [the] trial, I’m like, 'I want to go against corrupt piece of s*** prosecutors like Thomas Binger.' And put them in their place and make sure they never practice law again," he added.
Binger - who has worked for the Kenosha County District Attorney's Office for six years - was the chief prosecutor in Rittenhouse's trial. He clashed with Judge Bruce Schroeder a number of times during proceedings, where repeated missteps by prosecutors prompted defense lawyers to twice request a mistrial.
However, the trial continued as planned, with jurors reaching a verdict on November 19 after around 27 hours of deliberations.
Elsewhere in his interview with Schaffer and Watson, Rittenhouse slammed sports star LeBron James for suggesting that his tears were fake.
James retweeted a video of the teen crying in court with the caption: "What tears????? I didn’t see one. Man knock it off! That boy ate some lemon heads before walking into court."
The comment didn't go down well with Rittenhouse, who said: "I was a Lakers fan too before he said that. I was really pi**ed off when he said that, because I liked LeBron and then I'm like, you know what f**k you LeBron."
