Melania Trump has been filmed walking away from Donald Trump during their last photo op together as President and First Lady, apparently snubbing her husband in images that have since gone viral on social media.

According to The Independent, the video in question was filmed as Air Force One touched down in Florida following Trump's departure from The White House on Wednesday, January 20.

Take a look at the video in question below:

While walking from their jet to a waiting car, which was due to drive the now-former President and First Lady to Trump's Mar-a-Lago hotel in Florida, press cameramen congregated to take pictures of them.

Although Donald Trump waved and smiled at the waiting press when he exited the plane, Melania walked out of the shot as she was being filmed for the last time as First Lady.

The footage has been viewed more than four million times in the day since it was posted online, and a number of social media users have created memes and image macros lampooning Melani's dismissive attitude.

However, in her farewell speech, Melania spoke positively about her experiences as the First Lady in a video address she later shared on Twitter.

Melania stated:

"The past four years have been unforgettable. As Donald and I conclude our time in the White House, I think of all the people I have taken home in my heart and their incredible stories of love, patriotism, and determination."

"Together, as one national family, we can continue to be the light of hope for future generations and carry on America’s legacy of raising our nation to greater heights through our spirit of courage, goodness, and faith."

She added: "No words can express the depth of my gratitude for the privilege of having served as your First Lady. To all the people of this country: You will be in my heart forever."

"Thank you. God bless you, and God bless the United States of America."
