A YouTuber has uploaded footage of Renee Good being killed by an ICE agent to AI to see who the app believed was in the wrong.
Good, a 37-year-old mother of three, was fatally shot during a confrontation with ICE officers in Minneapolis.
The incident has become incredibly divisive, with some condemning the shooter and others, including Donald Trump's government, claiming he acted in self-defense.
AI Reviews The Footage
Popular YouTube channel I Ask AI uploaded the footage that has been circulating online to get its opinion on who was in the wrong.
He starts by asking ChatGPT to gather all the information on the incident so it has all the facts, which it proceeds to do.
The YouTuber asks the AI to be unbiased, using only the footage provided and not allowing public opinion to determine who was at fault.
ChatGPT answered: "What I see is a situation that went bad because of poor decisions on both sides, but the heavier responsiblity lands squarely on ICE. And I don't think that's even close."
It notes that Good's attempt to flee the scene was a poor one, and that it was "a mistake" to panic and try to leave as opposed to dealing with the situation through her lawyers.
However, it further explains that "mistakes by civilians do not automatically justify lethal force."
Despite the statements of Donald Trump's government to the contrary, ChatGPT says that the ICE agent was not in immediate danger, and it is "not an obvious life-or-death moment".
ChatGPT later declares that situations like these are becoming all too common with ICE and even goes as far to say that ICE as an institution is "[creating] situations where people end up dead."
To conclude, the AI said: "I don't see justice or protection. I see a preventable death caused by an agency that escalates first and explains later."
Forensic Expert Highlights Key Details in Video Footage
Dr. G Explains, a well-known YouTube forensic expert, has reviewed the video footage that has been circulating on social media of Renee Good’s final moments.
According to Dr. G, one of the most telling signs comes from observing Good’s hands and the position of her steering wheel just before the fatal shots were fired.
Dr. G suggests that Good was "preparing for action" and was “preparing to leave” the scene. He points out that the direction of the tires, angled to the left, supports this theory.
The forensic expert also notes that Good’s brake and reverse lights were on, which indicates she was likely preparing to drive away at any moment.
Despite the high-stress situation, Dr. G states that Good appeared calm and composed, likely driven by the adrenaline in her system.
His analysis suggests that her intent was to escape rather than engage in further conflict.
However, things escalated when Good’s wife attempted to enter the car, at the exact moment that an ICE agent was pulling on the driver’s side door.
Dr. G explains that this moment of confrontation likely triggered a “flight state” in Good, which caused her to attempt a quick getaway, unintentionally clipping an ICE agent with her vehicle.
Tragically, the agent responded by fatally shooting Good.
