Body language expert makes significant observation about Ivanka Trump after State of the Union appearance
As President Donald Trump delivered a nearly two-hour address outlining his second-term accomplishments, all five of his children were present.
But according to a body language expert, it was Ivanka Trump and her younger brother Barron who quietly stole the show — forming what she described as a striking new 'power duo.'
Body Language Expert Claims Ivanka And Barron Created A ‘New Sibling Power Couple’
Body language expert Judi James zeroed in on the dynamic between Trump’s eldest daughter and his youngest son during the speech.
"Barron and Ivanka seemed to have formed a new sibling power couple, sitting side by side, with Barron looking watchful and serious while Ivanka chatted to him until they were engaged together in some ongoing conversation," James said to the Daily Mail.
The president’s lengthy address — something he had previewed in advance — gave plenty of opportunity for observation. And James suggested that the interaction between the siblings felt deliberate.
She described it as a 'new dynamic that looked emphatically performed enough to be meaningful.'
While Barron appeared composed and serious, Ivanka was reportedly more animated, leaning in and engaging him in conversation throughout the evening.
Ivanka And Melania’s ‘History’ Of Frostiness Addressed
But then came a significant observation.
James also closely analyzed Ivanka’s exchanges with First Lady Melania Trump, noting their rumored tension.
She pointed out that they 'have history in terms of being accused of frostiness,' adding that Ivanka appeared to be waiting for an acknowledgment from her stepmother.
"Ivanka's eye direction showed she was watching Melania in the expectation of a greeting or interaction," she said.
According to James, Melania initially turned to greet people seated behind her before shifting her attention forward.
She said: "She suddenly and very deliberately leaned her head to greet Ivanka, again with a display of warmth that looked deliberately and emphatically performed."
James also observed Melania’s demeanor upon arrival, claiming she 'looked prepared to do business rather than add the Hollywood-style glamour of last year.'
One notable moment came as the First Lady descended the stairs.
Her most prominent gesture was raising he hand in a hail motion while walking down the stairs, before "leaning to grab Barron's arm when she arrived at her seat and proffering a cheek as she bent to kiss it."
Melania’s Power Suit Makes Statement At State Of The Union
While the body language grabbed attention, Melania’s fashion choices did too.
The 55-year-old stepped out in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday night hand-in-hand with President Trump ahead of his address.
Choosing to silence fashion critics, she wore a gray Dolce & Gabbana tailored power suit paired with a crisp white collared shirt. The structured look was complemented by small stud earrings, a thin black leather belt, and pointed-toe heels.
Her honey-colored hair fell in loose curls swept back over her shoulders — a style she frequently favors.
Melania has long been known for embracing sharply tailored suits, and this appearance was no exception.
