A doctor claims that Donald Trump suffered a stroke several months ago and has hidden it from the US public, according to a report.
Professor Bruce Davidson of Washington State University came forward with this bombshell claim and claims to have the evidence to back it up.
Donald Trump’s health has been in the spotlight for some time now
Professor Davidson is a medical expert from his university’s college of medicine, and the Daily Beast reports that he believes the president suffered a serious medical incident last year and he has been putting forward ‘lines of evidence supportive’ to his claims for some time.
The President’s health has been questioned before, with some questioning his mental capacity, and others making observations about his physical health, but now an expert has suggested that he actually may have suffered a stroke and hidden it.
Speaking on podcast The Court of History, Professor Davidson explained: “I think his stroke was on the left side of the brain, which controls the right side of the body.”
He continued: “I think the stroke was six months ago or more, earlier in 2025,
“There are videos of him shuffling his feet, which is not what we’d seen previously when he was striding on the golf course.
“We’ve seen him holding his right hand cradled in his left.
“Earlier in 2025, he was garbling words, which he hadn’t done before and which he’s improved upon more recently.”
He also pointed to ‘marked episodes of excessive daytime sleepiness’ - known as hypersomnolence - which is a common stroke symptom.
Footage of the President showing him disembarking Air Force One holding the bannister with his left hand despite being right-handed has also been analyzed, and Davidson claims is ‘consistent with having had a stroke on the left side of the brain’.
Is there any truth to the doctor’s argument?
Simply put, we don’t know.
If you were to ask Donald Trump or his administration, they would tell you that he is in rude health, both physically and mentally, but others claim he is in cognitive decline or suffering with symptoms of dementia.
Without any official confirmation, we have to assume that the President is in fit health.
Trump himself has admitted he takes more aspirin than is recommended for ‘cardiac prevention’ and some have pointed out that he was seen with a drooping face, and hiding his ankles, which are swollen because of chronic venous insufficiency, which the President admitted to in July 2024.
Davidson also pointed to the President’s behavior could be indicative of post-stroke symptoms.
He said: “It’s a very serious, concerning, life-threatening, upsetting, scary event, and people react in different ways,
“Some people respond with humility and gratitude. Others become euphoric—‘I was at the cliff of death, and now I’m back.’
“And some think, ‘That was my chance to die, and I didn’t—so now I’m going to do everything I wanted to do, because the next one may be fatal.’”
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told the publication: “As the President’s physician, Dr. Sean Barbabella, has made clear time and again—and as the American people see with their own eyes every single day—President Trump remains in excellent overall health.
“President Trump’s relentless work ethic, unmatched energy, and historic accessibility stand in sharp contrast to what we saw during the past four years when the failing legacy media intentionally covered up Joe Biden’s serious mental and physical decline from the American people,
“Pushing these fake and desperate narratives now about President Trump is why Americans’ trust in the media just fell to a new all-time low.”
