Trump caught on camera making very NSFW gesture during ‘I love the meat’ comment
Donald Trump has once again made headlines in his latest midterm rally after making a bizarre gesture when speaking about a Democrat.
The US President has been speaking at Republican rallies across the country ahead of November 3's midterms, and in typical Trump fashion, he has stayed among the headlines for outlandish reasons.
Over the weekend, Trump shocked viewers with his comments about Nicki Minaj's behind, as she spoke at the rally, before seemingly being caught looking at the same area as she walked away.
On Tuesday (October 27), Trump falsely claimed that Texas Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico is vegan, and further exaggerated the point by making a crude-looking gesture.
Love him or hate him, the 80-year-old has a knack for making news headlines and getting people talking.
Trump's NSFW hand gesture
While speaking in Corpus Christi, the first of two Texas rallies yesterday, Trump spoke about Talarico before delving into detail about Ohio GOP Sen. Jon Husted’s body.
Talarico has been absent from the recent campaign trail as he is down with the flu, but the President claimed that the real reason was that he fell ill after eating meat.
Rumors have long swirled that the Democrat is secretly a vegan, which is seemingly unacceptable in the US.
Speaking about Talarico's absence, Trump said: “You ever see him go to a barbecue and he’s trying to show, ‘I love the meat. Ahhh. I love it look. Aghhh.’ And then you see him – where is he? He’s behind the tent puking.”
While making the questionable sounds, he also put his hand up to his mouth in a fist action, while opening his mouth wide, looking all too similar to a certain adult act.
He added: "I happen to think he was food poisoned by meat because he can't stand it," as he continued to falsely claim that Talarico is a vegan, which he is not.
Speaking in May, Talarico said: "I've been eating barbecue since before Ken Paxton's first indictment," in a reference to the numerous scandals that have surrounded his Republican opponent, Paxton.
One of these includes an indictment on three felony counts in a fraud case.
Trump's description of Ohio GOP Sen. Jon Husted
While the President once again suggested that he make Venezuela the 51st state of the US, he would later appear in Lubbock, where he spoke about Husted's body.
Trump said: “I made the mistake of saying – that I started off by studying his a**,
“And then I looked at his feet, and they were massive. Then I looked at his hands... He has fingers like sausages.”
Viewers react to bizarre gesture
Social media viewers were caught off guard by the action, as one wrote: "What the f*** is happening?"
Another said: "If this singular thing happened 10 years ago, the world would go f***ing insane, now it happens hourly. What have we become?"
"It's hilarious watching him destroy the Republican Party on purpose," a third claimed, as others said they couldn't wait for the midterms.
Whatever it is Trump was trying to do, he did successfully get people's attention - whether it was for the right reasons is another question.
