Taylor Swift has donated an incredible $100,000 to the family of Lisa Lopez-Galvan - the beloved mom who tragically lost her life as a result of the Super Bowl parade shooting.

As previously reported, the shooting unfolded at Union Station in Kansas City, Missouri, around 3:30PM on Wednesday, February 14, as detailed by Kansas City Police Chief Stacey Graves.

Despite the presence of more than 800 police officers, the three assailants managed to cause life-altering levels of devastation. The attack resulted in 22 people sustaining injuries, and the death of local DJ Lisa Lopez-Galvan.

Sky News reports that two of the three suspects in custody are juveniles, currently undergoing questioning regarding their alleged involvement in the shooting.

Following Lopez-Galvan's tragic passing, the radio station where she worked shared the following tribute on Facebook: "It is with sincere sadness and an extremely heavy and broken heart that we let our community know that KKFI DJ Lisa Lopez-Galvan, host of Taste of Tejano lost her life today in the shooting at the KC Chiefs' rally. Our hearts and prayers are with her family.

"This senseless act has taken a beautiful person from her family and this KC Community."

Additionally, a GoFundMe was set up in an effort to financially help support Lopez-Galvan's family. The description reads: "This fund has been set up to benefit the family of Lisa Lopez-Galvan.

"Lisa was celebrating the Chiefs Super Bowl Victory parade when senselessly killed. She is survived by two children and her husband of 22 years. She was an amazing mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to so many.

"We ask that you continue to keep her family in your prayers as we grieve the loss of her life. This fund will help provide vital financial support to her family as they process this unthinkable tragedy. Any amount is appreciated."

While the fundraiser was close to reaching its $75,000 target - it has since greatly surpassed that amount thanks to a generous donation from singer Taylor Swift - whose boyfriend, Travis Kelce, was present at the parade with his winning team.

On Friday (February 16), the 34-year-old 'Anti-Hero' singer - who is currently in Australia for her Eras Tour - shared two donations of $50,000 each, along with the message: "Sending my deepest sympathies and condolences in the wake of your devastating loss. With love, Taylor Swift."

Thanks to Swift's donation, the fundraiser total currently stands on just over $174,000 (as of this writing).

Lopez-Galvan's close friend, Manny Abarca, spoke about her impact in an interview with TalkTV's Jeremy Kyle and Rosie Wright on Talk Today, sharing that she was an "incredible leader in the Latino community" in Kansas City.

"I've had the opportunity and privilege to be on her show and [participate] in community events throughout Kansas City with her and her family. So she is a large loss to our community," he said, as cited by Daily Mail. "But also, she was a mother. She was a friend and neighbor. These are the types of folks that, tragically, are victim to what some, you know, use as a hobby, collecting so many guns."

On X, Abarca promised that his beloved friend's tragic passing would not be in "vain," noting: "I will legislate, I will fight and I WILL do everything in my power to change this State and City for the better."

Our thoughts continue to go out to everybody impacted by this senseless tragedy.
