A substitute teacher has been fired and arrested over an X-rated act she allegedly performed on students.
Angela Faith Jourdan was accused of disruptive behavior at Lake Minneola High School in Minneola, Florida.
"Good afternoon. We are aware of the arrest. Parents have been notified. The substitute teacher was hired 2/4/2025, and employment was terminated today," the district said in a statement to News 6.
At around 10:20AM, a school resource officer responded to an alert and found the teacher shouting "incoherently" in the classroom, claiming that she should be "put in prison for life."
According to investigators, Jourdan was reportedly slamming her hands on a desk and making inappropriate remarks to the students.
Deputies say she was allegedly "twerking" in the classroom, referring to herself as a "million-dollar prostitute," and reportedly telling students that she would sleep with them.
In addition to this, a student told investigators that Jourdan attacked her when class was ending.
"As the bell rang and students began exiting, [REDACTED] stated she was among the last to leave when Ms. Jourdan yelled at her, called her a derogatory name, and placed her hands on [REDACTED] head and the back of her neck before moving her hand toward [REDACTED] throat," a case report states.
The assistant principal entered the classroom to handle the situation and asked Jourdan to gather her belongings and leave. She reportedly refused and stated that she did not want to be "tasered".
Bodycam footage shared online showed the exact moment the educator was arguing with deputies as they tried to remove her from the classroom.
"I am not a threat, and I will not be killed," she said. "I already got tased by the police in Pine Hills, and I double-dare you..."
"You thought that was a weapon, right? Then you’re gonna say I was a threat," she added. Police handcuffed Jourdan and escorted her from the building.
The ex-teacher now faces misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct, simple battery, and two counts of disruption of a school function.
It's been reported that she has a history of bipolar disorder, and her behavior indicated a possible "mental health episode".
Lake County School Board Chair Bill Mathias has commended the students for their response during the incident. "That was very moving to me,” he said.
