An American YouTuber who claims he went to Jeffrey Epstein’s island now says that he is being followed and watched by shadowy people in black SUVs.
Matt Batista posted his video five days ago, and now claims that he is being stalked.
Matt Batista took a jet ski to near Epstein Island
In his original video, Batista first tried to fly a drone over the island, otherwise known as Little Saint James, but colloquially known as Epstein Island, but wasn’t satisfied with that.
After encountering locals who asked questions like ‘why do you want to go there?’ and told him not to go, he decided to take a jet ski out there.
With the ongoing scandal surrounding the release of the Epstein files, which seems to implicate many high-profile figures and has generated significant controversy, it’s clear that traveling to the creepy island might not be the smartest idea - and even potentially dangerous and illegal.
However, Batista set off on his jet ski with his friends, fully knowing that he might be arrested.
As he approached the island, he reported feeling a ‘dark’ aura from the island, but pushed on regardless.
Despite spotting security guards and receiving warnings from a woman at the island, the explorers pressed on, eventually being chased away by a man in a boat.
Undeterred, they came back again afterwards and found an area to swim ashore.
However, one of the party stood on a sea urchin, and they had to leave quickly - and perhaps conveniently - to get medical attention.
However, there is more to the story.
The YouTuber claims he is now being stalked
In the days since his jaunt to Little Saint James, Batista has shared a number of videos claiming he is now being ‘stalked’ by people who he has called ‘higher-ups’ in black SUVs.
Whether this claim is true or simply a play for online clout is unclear, but he has recorded several videos in which he has shown the vehicles that he says are monitoring him.
One video shows black cars driving around his house at night, lights shining into his windows, and even one car driving off as he approaches.
Again, not clear whether this is real or not.
In a particularly dramatic video, he says: “Just remember, I have no intentions of going missing, I love my life, and if I ever disappear it is not on my own accord.”
He ends the video: “Tell my family I love them.”
In another, he says that his Instagram has been hacked, and in another video he shows a flat tire of a car, claiming it was deliberately done.
In an explainer video, he explained how he believes he is being ‘targeted’ and - although he doesn’t say who by - it’s clear who he wants us to believe it could be.
Is it true, is it a hoax or skit for online clout?
We’ll have to wait and see.
