Doomsday prepper reveals what is in his 'Bug Out Bag' as more people are preparing for World War III
A man has shared everything that he keeps in his Doomsday kit as he continues 'preparing for the worst'.
The Doomsday prepper is known for posting content about the impending end of the world and how he is preparing for the occasion, especially with the continued chatter of a Third World War.
Videos range from survival tips and what to pack ahead of the apocalypse to vlogs and home renovation videos.
He posts his videos on the YouTube channel, 'Off Grid Challenge', and has accumulated over 23,600 subscribers through his content.
Known also as Mo, he posted a video titled 'What’s Actually Inside My Bug Out Bag?' on Thursday (October 29), laying out everything that he includes in his survival kit.
What does Mo keep in his Bug Out Bag?
Mo, who lives in a 'small homestead in the Appalachian mountains' with his two dogs Freya and Thor, claims to 'secure his own power, stockpile supplies and watch the perimeter'.
He built and renovated his cabins alongside former girlfriend, Pink, but now lives alone in southwestern Virginia.
Showing off his bug-out bag, he reveals that it's just a standard backpack that contains supplies that are essential to surviving any given emergency.
The largest item in his bag is a 12-by-12-foot heavy-duty tarp, with paracord to help and build shelters.
In terms of health products, he has packed toothbrushes, toothpaste, shaving blades, wet wipes, bandages, eye drops, and portable water-purification tablets.
Obviously, humans must eat to sustain themselves, and Mo is no different as he shows off his cooking equipment
This includes a compact camping pan with a lid and measuring cup, in addition to four hands-free headlamps and reusable protective gloves.
Safety first and all that.
When it comes to navigation and lighting, the doomsday prepper has got two military-style compasses in his backpack, in addition to a solar-powered flashlight, portable solar chargers capable of charging phones and laptops, a solar panel, an emergency foil blanket, and a hand-crank flashlight.
Various other essential items include spare reading glasses, a poncho, cotton balls coated in Vaseline to help start fires, soap, toilet paper, warm socks, and protective goggles for any environmental hazards.
Mo highlights the importance of medication
While the YouTuber showed that his tools include Swiss Army knives, a screwdriver, matches, playing cards, and knives among other things, he spoke about the importance of personal medication.
Mo explained that personal medication, such as inhalers, ibuprofen and potassium iodide tablets, will help to combat against radioactive iodine exposure.
He also packs two full-face gas masks with dual respirators and two sets of replacement filters in his bag, which are just as important as the iodine tablets.
When it comes to food, he carries a jar of peanut butter, protein bars, and canned food.
Stored drinking water is also a non-negotiable, as he highlights that the number of items you should include may depend on your budget and circumstances.
