A woman's vacation turned into a horror story when she discovered what she initially thought was a 'bag of blood' in her Florida hotel room.
The alarming discovery quickly made waves online, as the woman detailed her unsettling experience that took place late last month, insisting that she arrived to find an uncleaned room complete with an unmade bed and a bag of trash.
In a post to Facebook, Ásh Whïté said she was in Tallahassee for a family reunion and had a room booked at the Hilton Garden Inn. When she entered, she realized the room had not been properly cleaned after the previous guest's stay.
The story took a ghastly turn when she opened the hotel room's wardrobe, only to find a transparent bag filled with a suspicious red substance. The hotel staff were promptly contacted, who, upon inspecting the bag, speculated it might be a foetus.
"We’re contracted with Planned Parenthood," one housekeeper reportedly told the guest. "This looks like an aborted foetus. We’re just going to take it."
The troubling scenario captured on camera shows a staff member carrying the bag down the hallway. As a further precaution, local law enforcement was alerted to investigate the incident.
In light of the shocking discovery, the guest demanded a full refund, stating: "That wasn’t just something you just put on somebody like that and expect them to just go on about their day. This was the worst day ever. So I was like, I want my money back."
Fortunately, a subsequent examination revealed the substance in question was not as macabre as first thought – though still quite disturbing.
The hotel, in a statement to the Florida Standard, clarified that the red substance was, in fact, a mix of wine and vomit. "In response to the serious allegation, our staff immediately contacted law enforcement and a thorough investigation was conducted. A forensic analysis concluded that the allegation was false," a hotel spokesperson informed the news outlet.
"We take all guest concerns very seriously, and we strive to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety for all our guests."
Needless to say, Whïté's video has drawn a number of comments from shocked Facebook users.
