The Wizarding World of
Harry Potter has continued to enchant and delight since its conception in 1997. Yes, it's safe to say that the Millennial generation grew up obsessed with the franchise; many of us have accounts on Pottermore, well aware of what house we would be sorted to if only we weren't muggles, and I even happen to know what my Patronus would be (it's a black cat, thank you very much).
Now, I don't know about you - but I have been known to get into heated debates with my friends when someone dares to insinuate that Chamber of Secrets is too long, and when discussing the redeeming qualities of Slytherin house. However, there's one thing that no one could possibly disagree with and it's to do with how attractive Neville Longbottom has become.

While Neville Longbottom, also known as Matthew Lewis, was known for being shy and bumbling in the Harry Potter books and films, it appears that he's truly blossomed. Puberty, folks, can do wonders.
Certainly, Matthew Lewis's ascent to teen heartthrob has been well documented throughout the years. And it apparently culminated when he stripped off on Wednesday for ITV's Girlfriends.
And of course, the people of Twitter got rather hot and heavy about the whole thing. One Twitter user wrote, "It just feels wrong finding Neville Longbottom so attractive " while another corroborated "Aaaaand Neville Longbottom continues to be the hottest alumnus of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry."

A few years ago, Matthew's body even prompted a response from
J.K Rowling herself. After he appeared on Attitude magazine, shirtless, the author of the
Harry Potter series took to Twitter to write, "I will always support you whatever you want to do, Matthew. Now go put some clothes on."

Speaking to the Evening Standard about the raunchy shoot, Matthew said "I was 21, I was like ‘yeah, this’ll be cool!’ It was never meant to be a ‘hey everyone, look at me!’ but it was nice to be able to go and be myself. And then obviously a lot of attention focused on it, which I didn’t expect at all. I’ve never considered myself to be good-looking at all. Just average."

The 28-year-old continued:
"The reaction was crazy – I turned my phone off for a couple of days, it was just a bit weird. It’s all nice stuff being said, I can’t complain about it, it’s very flattering. It’s just weird to have people talking about that.
My mum, bless her, was not happy at all [about the cover]. My dad thought it was funny. But my mum is a magistrate and she was at the court and all of her colleagues who are magistrates were coming up to her going, ‘I saw your son’ and she hadn’t seen it at this point. She knew I’d done something for a magazine. Anyway, someone showed her and she was mortified. So I got bit of earache from her. Apart from that it was great.
Well, we all know who's going to get the "hottest alumnus" award at the 10 year
Hogwarts reunion.
