It's commonly accepted that someone, somewhere will look exactly like you. Whether it's the girl who looks so much like Lady Gaga that I'm still convinced it's Lady Gaga or the girl who looks like Kim Kardashian and gets paid a fortune to do sponsored posts on Instagram - you will have a doppelganger somewhere in the world.
Obviously, for people like me, our doppelgänger is most likely another Average Joe and we are unlikely to ever run into them. But, for those people who do look like a famous person, having a noticeable doppelgänger can be a profitable business.
However, one man who is sick of being compared to other people is Chris Pine. The actor, who has starred in films such as Star Trek, appeared on Saturday Night Live for the first time in 2017 and took a dig at all those people who compare to various different actors.
In the show - which Pine hosted - his opening monologue was mainly done through the medium of song. While this was undoubtedly impressive, the best part was Pine asking fans to stop confusing him with other actors who are called Chris, which, of course, there are many.
After announcing that he was promoting his new movie, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (which, of course, stars Chris Pratt), Pine enlisted the help of Leslie Jones to complete the monologue. When he asked Jones to tell the audience who he was, she replied: "You're Captain America, Chris Evans," leading to Pine breaking out into a special song.
[[youtubewidget||https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MGurtL83zhY]]
Pine proceeded to tell the audience that he wasn't Chris Evans, Pratt, or Hemsworth, saying: "I'm not that Chris. I look just like him, but I'm not that Chris." Also, when trying to explain that his character in Wonder Woman, Steve Trevor, has the same first name as Captain America (Chris Evans), Pine's handy assistant then says that he thought he was Ryan Reynolds.
However, while Pine may find the comparison to other Chris actors funny, his latest lookalike is a bit less flattering. Being compared to Pratt, Hemsworth and Evans is fairly complimentary. But, now, Chris Pine is being compared to a puppet.
Yes, a puppet. But not just any Puppet - people think that Chris Pine looks exactly like Gary from Team America.
Pine's character in "A Wrinkle In Time" is reminding people of Gary Johnston, with his hairdo, in particular, looking exactly like the one on the puppet.

It's not the first time that Pine has been compared with Gary before, but it seems like plenty of people are now picking up on the comparison. Here are just a few of the people who have mentioned the uncanny resemblance on Twitter.

So there you have it, Chris Pine looks exactly like a doll from an explicit, if not hilarious movie. I guess some people aren't so lucky with their doppelgangers.

Chris Evans, one of Hollywood's biggest heartthrobs, turns 42 today!
Evans is best known for portraying the iconic Marvel superhero Captain America but has had a long, illustrious career in the industry playing all sorts of different characters, earning him a solid fanbase over time.
From his portrayal of the handsome and charming Nick Vaughan in the romantic drama titled Before You Go to probably one of his most exciting roles playing Ransom Drysdale in Knives Out, Evans has proved time and time again that he is an exceptional talent.
Beyond his professional life, he has been dubbed as one of Hollywood's most down-to-earth celebrities, one that you can have a drink with while making idle chit-chat about the weather.
Speaking of Evans during an episode of Joe Rogan's podcast, his co-star Robert Downey Jr, who starred alongside the actor in multiple movies for the franchise, described him as a "brilliant actor" as well as an all-around nice guy.
"I adore Chris Evans," he told Rogan. "I can’t even tell you why. He’s a Boston guy. He’s technically such a brilliant actor. But he also doesn’t take himself seriously. He’s flaky, but he’s the first guy you’d want to have your back if something went down."
"And yet we’re different enough where I feel like by being who we are and both having those characters we were able to — I thought [Captain America: Civil War] was a special moment in the arc of the Marvel films, about turning one against the other, what it meant," the 58-year-old continued, before adding that he "got lucky" to be able to work with Evans as well as the other Marvel cast members.
Evans' stint with the franchise has earned him multiple accolades including MTV Movie & TV Award for Best Fight, People's Choice Award for Favorite Action Movie Actor and a Teen Choice Award for Movie Scene Stealer.
But it's his humble and kind personality that seems to have earned him a soft spot with fans.
And of course, the fact that he's an avid dog lover.
His dog Dodger, whom he recused from an animal shelter, as become a fan favorite considering how much the star shares pictures of the pup online.
While playing Captain America might have been one of the highlights of his career - as it should be - the 42-year-old has recently earned a different accolade that has seemingly cemented his legacy as one of Hollywood's biggest heartthorbs.
In 2022, Evans was named PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive - an honor that some would regard as a bragging right, though of course, Evans remained ever-so-modest about the crown.
The exciting news was announced back in November by late-night talk show host, Stephen Colbert.
During a segment of his show, Colbert introduced Evans as a "Hollywood movie star and incandescent supernova of hotness" giving us all a glimpse of the highly-anticipated cover shot.
Paired with all the photos came a candid interview with the Gifted actor, in which he revealed that despite his friends teasing him about his latest achievement, his mom would be over the moon.
"My mom will be so happy," he told the outlet, "She's proud of everything I do, but this is something she can really brag about."
Throughout the interview, we also got confirmation as to why Evans is a worthy winner for last year's top spot. From "sitting in front of the fireplace in a quaint farmhouse," to being "dressed in a cozy knit sweater and jeans" and wanting to "jump into said fireplace [rather] than talk about being sexy," we can't help but gush at the description of an attractive, yet incredibly humble man.
We can't help but stan! Happy birthday, Chris Evans!

In a phenomenon I like to refer to as the Chris-ening of Hollywood, it appears that four men, who all bear the same name, have taken over the entertainment industry. And they seem to have a thing for the Marvel Cinematic Universe too: Chris Pine recently starred in Wonder Woman, Chris Hemsworth is better known as Thor, Chris Pratt is the star of Guardians of the Galaxy and Chris Evans plays Captain America.
Now, throughout this process, we've all wondered the same question - out of these four genetically blessed men - who could possibly be considered the most attractive? Fellow heartthrob and superhero, Ryan Reynolds, perhaps had the best answer to this conundrum. When someone asked him on Twitter, "Which Chris is hotter, Hemsworth, Pratt, or Evans?" he failed to pick one singular Chris.
The Deadpool star wrote, "When ordering ice cream, I like to get all three scoops."
I mean, why not all of them?
[[twitterwidget||https://twitter.com/VancityReynolds/status/948195703997771776]]
And he went one step further, too, adding in a follow-up tweet: "And of course, some Pine nuts generously sprinkled on top."
[[twitterwidget||https://twitter.com/VancityReynolds/status/948205501522771968]]
However, Thor actor, Chris Hemsworth, recently proved that it's all to do with winning the genetic lottery. The 34-year-old took to Instagram to share an adorable snap of his parents, and fans think that his mother looks super young.
The photo of Chris nestled among his parents, Leonie and Craig, in the stands of the Commonwealth Games garnered a whole host of comments - the majority of which praised the good looks of the family.
"Commonwealth games with Mum dad and @emerysurfboards#gc2018 yeoooooooow!!" the actor captioned the image.
[[instagramwidget||https://www.instagram.com/p/BhWVbajlDPp/?utm_source=ig_embed]]
One Instagram user wrote, "Wow! Thought your mum was a girl friend, looking so young!! Your father looking good too. Good spirit!" while another corroborated "Is that really your mom???? Omg STUNNING af".
A third individual referred to Mrs. Hemsworth as "foxy" when someone added "Mrs Hemsworth is foxy. Mr Hemsworth looks like a charmer in good shape. Good genes Thor."
If you can't get enough of the Hemsworth's, here's another adorable snap of (nearly) all of them together.
[[instagramwidget||https://www.instagram.com/p/9CQg8hyJfv/?utm_source=ig_embed]]
Chris is the middle of three Hemsworth brothers - all of whom are actors. There's the oldest, Luke, and the youngest is Liam.
The Thor actor recently opened up to W magazine about how he nabbed the Marvel role. Explaining that he normally gets typecast as the jock sort, the actor said "I remembered reading the breakdown for Thor and it said, 'Must be over 6'3" and 200 pounds,' and so on. I thought, 'Oh cool. This is the one thing that sort of fits me.'"
He then revealed that he blew his first audition, and that the producers of the series had the audacity to call up his younger brother, Liam. "Months went by and then my brother, my little brother, Liam, was in Australia and sent a tape across and he got a call back, then another call back and then was down to the last kind of four or five people for it," Chris continued.
It all worked out in the end, though, with a little help from mama Hemsworth:
"I remember sitting in Vancouver, shooting Cabin in the Woods with Drew Goddard and Joss Whedon. Both of them were looking at the trades at this sort of top five guys for Thor and saying, 'Why aren't you in the mix here? What happened?' I said, 'I don't know. I blew my audition I guess.' None of those guys got it. My manager then called up and said, 'You know, he's got an older brother. Can we bring him back in?' So I did an audition in Vancouver in this hotel room with my mum reading Anthony Hopkins' part. She must have nailed it because it got me back in the room and that second audition was a lot different than my first one.
"I came in kind of with a little, I guess, motivation and maybe frustration that my little brother had gotten further than me. It's a little family, sibling rivalry sort of kicked up in me. Then it moved pretty quick from there. It was cool," he concluded.
In related news, Jennifer Lawrence finally breaks her silence on Chris Pratt affair rumours.

Over the past years, we've gotten to know Chris Evans as Captain America, our favorite goody-two-shoes superhero turned war criminal. But now the actor has been dropping hints he'll be done with the Marvel Cinematic Universe after the next two Avengers films. Will the character die, retire, or switch allegiances, becoming Captain Canada? We'll have to wait and see.
Now the 36-year-old actor is preparing for the next phase of his career. He's about to make his Broadway debut in the play "Lobby Hero," and no, that's not a new, really lame superhero character. In the role of Bill, Evans subverts his clean-cut virtuous image, playing a narcissistic creep with a horseshoe mustache. In a lengthy interview with The New York Times, the actor ruminates about his career and reveals he's really gotten into tap dancing. (Hopefully we see these tap skills in Avengers: Infinity War.)
[[twitterwidget||https://twitter.com/ChrisEvans/status/971410701175672832]]
Although Lobby Hero was written 17 years ago, it explores themes that are very relevant in the #MeToo era. In the play, the overbearing police officer Bill works on a case with his rookie female partner, Dawn. Scenes of corruption, power abuse and sexual coercion unfold. The writer says "this isn't new," but the issues should have fresh resonance with today's audiences. The director says he hopes to further "expose toxic masculinity."
In his role, Evans has been submerged in "questions of gender inequality and the distribution of power." He says, "It’s awful to admit, but I know plenty of guys who fit this mold." After all, those those same questions have been rocking Hollywood for the past year. Since the Harvey Weinstein allegations were exposed, victims of sexual harassment and assault have felt encouraged to speak out, telling their abusers that #Time'sUp. Recently Chris read Rebecca Solnit’s "The Mother of All Questions," a collection of feminist essays. He says they taught him to "listen more and speak less."
"The hardest thing to reconcile is that just because you have good intentions, doesn’t mean it’s your time to have a voice," explained Chris.

[[twitterwidget||https://twitter.com/crowbot_/status/977012596317372416]]
On Twitter, people applauded the actor for his insight. Men often have a tendency to interrupt women, or not listen to them when they speak. In order to an ally for women during the #MeToo movement, you just have to shut up once in a while, and hear their voices.
Although Evans will be done playing Captain America soon, he still embodies those virtuous values as an actor. Even when he has a pornstache that renders him unrecognizable. It'll be sad to see Cap go, but let's face it - right now there are way too many handsome athletic brown-haired superhero guys named Chris. Who can keep all these Chrises straight? I am Chris-ed out.
In a related story, Chris Evans being reunited with his dog is the most adorable thing you'll see today...

At this point, it's hard to imagine Chris Hemsworth as anyone else but Thor, the dear Asgardian god of thunder who possesses the enchanted hammer.
But the truth is, the Hollywood hunk had a whole career before most of us met him in the hit superhero movie - and this career included many an unexpected moment!
So kids, buckle up and we're going to take a trip all the way back to 2006, the year that Chris took on his most fabulous role yet: as a competitor on Dancing with the Stars.
Who knew Thor could dance? Catch the Norse God shaking his stuff here:

Yes, as hard as it is to believe, the 35-year-old lit up Australian screens with his Cha-Cha-Cha, Waltz, Rumba, and many other dances - and if you haven't seen it, you need to watch immediately.
You might be wondering how exactly how happened. Well, before he hit A-lister status, Chris was on well-loved Australian soap Home and Away for three years.
As it went back then, most Home and Away actors ended up on Dancing with the Stars at one point or another - and 2006 was the Hemsworth hunk's time to shine.
Unfortunately, while the crown prince of Asgard possesses superhuman strength, speed, agility, durability and immunity to most diseases, he's not the greatest dancer.
Sadly, the Avengers: Endgame star had the lowest score for five out of the seven weeks and came in fifth place in the end.
Nonetheless, his time on Dancing with the Stars was phenomenal and we love him for doing it. We love his tank tops, haircut and hilarious claim that he was "born with it" almost just as much.
Weirdly enough, Chris' stint on the reality TV show actually almost stopped him from clinching his iconic role as Thor, with producers fearing that fans would be put off.
[[youtubewidget||https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=1&v=kZ8lKrtJRPU]]
The actor recalled in an interview with BBC Radio 1: "[Marvel Studios president and producer] Kevin Feige said that almost lost me the job.
"[He said:] 'We all saw your audition, we were passing it around the office, and everyone was really into it. And then a few of the girls started Googling your name and up came this dancing video and I thought, oh no, Thor dancing? I don’t know, the fans are gonna eat us alive.'"
He added: "It made me more nimble on my feet, I guess. I needed to be with the cape. You might see a bit of that Dancing With The Stars quality in Thor."
Never stop dancing, Thor! We mean, Chris...
