Disneyland is famously dubbed the "Happiest Place on Earth", and there are an impressive six Disney resorts the world over - resorts which for many hardcore fans have become bucket list items.
Take a first look at Disney's new Star Wars-themed world, Galaxy's Edge, in the video below:

However, some Disney fans go one step further than simply visiting all of the resorts, opting to become part of them. While there are the usual "cast member" jobs - like ride operators and restaurant staff - at Disney, the most coveted of all the roles is that of a prince or a princess.

And if that sounds like your idea of a dream job, Disneyland Paris is now on the hunt for these very employees!
The job listing was posted on the park's website and involves an open casting call for British actors to play the roles. There are multiple auditions taking place, with the first being held on Saturday the 8th of June.

It's not just princes and princesses who are being auditioned for, either. Other roles up for grabs include Marvel superheroes and other well-known faces like Mickey and Minnie.

The listing reads:
"We are looking for enthusiastic and highly energetic people for our characters and parade department!
"If you dream of: performing as a famous Disney Character and/or Marvel, to participate in our wonderful parade and cavalcades (a basic dance level required), to portray Disney Princesses and Princes (subject of having the distinguishing characteristics)."

If you're a woman looking to be a Disney Princess, you have to measure between 160cm and 173cm, and have "elegance graceful qualities and no visual tattoos".
Whereas if you think what you've got what it takes to be a real-life Disney Prince, you have to be between 160cm - 183cm and have "compelling masculine features and no visual tattoos".
But if you're not quite the size listed here, you can still be a performer in the parade or work at the character meet-and-greets.

To audition, you have to be aged 18 or above and speak fluent French and/or English.
The first set of auditions are taking place in Dublin, Ireland on the 8th of June between 10.15 am and 11.45 am.
If this sounds like your dream job, full details of the Dublin audition are available here.

If you've ever wanted to star as an extra in what's likely to be a hit TV show, then today's your lucky day, providing that you're "funky" and "unusual" looking.
This is because the Lord of the Rings TV show has put out a casting call for extras with "an overbite, face burns, long skinny limbs, deep cheekbones, lines on your face, acne scars, ears that stick out, bulbous or interesting noses, small eyes, big eyes, skinny faces, missing bones".
The call was made by BGT Actors Models & Talent to New Zealanders with unique appearances who have no qualms about being in a few shots of a major series.
Cast your mind back to the trailer for the Fellowship of the Ring:
[[jwplayerwidget||https://content.jwplatform.com/videos/e7aN7ztK-Q0L14jDU.mp4||e7aN7ztK]]
But it's worth noting that you don't necessarily have to have any of the features listed above, they've just been provided to give you an idea of the sort of look that BGT Actors Models & Talent are seeking.
You don't just need the look either. You will also have to have a pretty free diary and reside in Aukland or New Zeland.
All you have to do to apply is to send a clear picture of yourself without makeup here.
This is what we know about the new TV series so far:

However, this is not the first time that a casting call has been made for the Lord of the Rings TV series. The show previously put out a casting call for people to pay monsters in the Amazon show, which is scheduled to begin filming this year.
It called for actors with wrinkly faces and "hairy people of all ages and ethnicities". The agency added: "HAIR HAIR HAIR - if you have natural red hair, white hair, or lots and lots of freckles."
The advert also called for "long lithe dancers", "stocky mean-looking bikers", and "redheads of all ages, shapes and sizes".

"What we were looking for was someone new. This character needed to be vulnerable and tough, sweet and terrified. And to find someone that no one knew who could do all these things took a lot of looking."
"[Daisy Ridley] just blew my mind. She's reaching this depth of struggle, and tears are streaming down her face. I thought, 'This is unbelievable.'"
She was perfect from the start, it seems, as this clip from her first audition proves. In this clip, she's practicing for the scene where she is being interrogated by the Force Awakens' villain Kylo Ren, as he attempts to read her mind. [[youtubewidget||https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bngVVMDC6Q8]] It's strange getting into the actor's process like this. Imagine auditioning to play a major role in what is possibly the biggest franchise ever, and on top of that having to start off with such an intensely emotional scene. It's tough work, and clearly what inspired the creators to cast her as Rey. The Last Jedi came out on December 15 and has done monumentally well at the box office as expected. It exceeded expectations and made $450 million worldwide, $25 million more than what forecasters predicted. It looks like the series will be sticking around for some time yet.uncategorised3 min(s) read

At some point, we have all been in a situation where we felt overwhelmed. Whether it's a project you have undertaken or a new job, you can feel like you're not capable of going through with it at all at some points. Of course, this can happen even with Hollywood's finest - especially when they're under the pressure of taking on a major role.
In fact, there are plenty of actors who almost quit halfway through filming their most iconic roles - and we're betting they're glad they went through with it now.
1. Daisy Ridley - Star Wars: The Force Awakens
During her very first day on set, director JJ Abrams told the actress that her performance "was wooden" in front of the entire crew (imagine how big a Star Wars film crew would be). "I honestly wanted to die," she later said. "I thought I was gonna cry, I couldn't breathe". At the time, she felt like quitting, with the weight of the franchise on her shoulders - but thankfully she didn't.

2. Jim Carrey - The Grinch
After the eight and a half hours spent applying makeup on the first day of filming, the actor didn't think he could make it through the production. Describing it as being "buried alive," it was suggested to him to speak to a man who trains CIA operatives to endure torture - which helped Carrey deal with the 100 times he had to don the outfit.

3. Emma Watson - Harry Potter franchise
During The Order of the Phoenix, Watson's contract was up for renegotiation. However, there was just one thing in the way of filming - the actress was determined to continue her education. Once it became apparent she was willing to walk away from the series entirely, the studio shifted the shooting schedule to make sure she could attend her exam dates.

4. Mike Myers - Wayne's World
During the production of Wayne's World, it was suggested that the now-iconic Bohemian Rhapsody sequence be replaced with a Guns n' Roses song, since Queen was declining in popularity at the time. However, in an interview with Rolling Stone, Myers said, "At one point I said to everybody, 'I'm out. I don't want to make this movie if it's not Bohemian Rhapsody'".

5. John Cena - 12 Rounds
This film required the wrestler-cum-actor to rappel off a building. Given that Cena has a fear of heights, he almost didn't film the sequence, and even considered quitting because of it.

6. Michelle Rodriquez - The Fast and the Furious
Rodriguez' character was initially supposed to be a part of a love triangle with Vin Diesel and Paul Walker's characters, but the actress fought back. "Is it realistic for a Latin girl who’s with the alpha-est of the alpha males to cheat on him with the cute boy? I had to put my foot down," she told The Daily Beast. "I basically cried and said I'm going to quit." She soon got Vin Diesel on her side, and the script was changed.

7. Tippi Hedren - The Birds
Mechanical birds were to be used on set during a scene in which the actress was attacked by the flying creatures, but the day of the shoot the technology failed and live ones were used instead. For four days, live birds were thrown at Hedren, until the fifth day - when birds were tied to her clothing. The actress told director Alfred Hitchcock that she was done. Her doctor insisted she have a one-week break, but she returned to finish the film afterwards.

8. Brad Pitt - Interview with the Vampire
When he was told he looked miserable in the 1994 film, Pitt told Entertainment Weekly he came very close to calling it a day:
"I am miserable. Six months in the f***ing dark. Contact lenses, makeup, I’m playing the bitch role. One day, it broke me. I called David Geffen - who was a producer - I said, ‘David, I can’t do this anymore. I can’t do it. How much will it take to get me out?’ And he goes, very calmly, ‘Forty million dollars.’"
He stayed on for the rest of the production.

9. Jessica Alba - Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer
At one point, Alba was apparently told to "cry prettier" by director Tim Story. He later told her to "Just make it flat, we can CGI the tears in". The actress later told SyFy Wire:
"There's no connection to a human being. And then it got me thinking: Am I not good enough? Are my instincts and my emotions not good enough? Do people hate them so much that they don't want me to be a person? Am I not allowed to be a person in my work? And so I just said, 'F**k it. I don't care about this business anymore.'"

10. Ian McKellen - The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey
Due to the massive height difference between Gandalf and the hobbits/dwarves, McKellen spent much of the filming in front of a green screen. He told The Guardian:
"It was so distressing and off-putting and difficult that I thought 'I don't want to make this film if this is what I'm going to have to do ... It's not what I do for a living. I act with other people, I don't act on my own.'"
[[youtubewidget||https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KbbtLBpvshI]]
11. Al Pacino - The Godfather
Al Pacino was an unknown actor when he was cast in the lead role of the mafia epic, which didn't make the studio execs happy. "If it wasn’t for Francis [the director], I would’ve just not showed up one day and said, 'Hey, look man, I don’t want to be where I’m not wanted,'" Pacino told ABC News.

It's incredible to think about how different these iconic movies would have been if the actors in question decided to call it quits and leave the production looking for a substitute.
