Avril Lavigne was interrupted by a topless streaker while on stage at the Juno Awards this week, but it's safe to say the singer was not about to put up with the woman storming the stage - and confronted her much to the audience's delight.
As per TMZ, the 38-year-old singer was on stage with fellow musician AP Dhillon at the awards show in Canada on Monday night.
The Juno Awards, or simply the Junos, are given by the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences to those who have made "outstanding" achievements in the music industry.
As the iconic 'Sk8er Boi' singer took the stage, it seems that security was a little relaxed as a topless protestor managed to get into the spotlight without any interference.
Watch the bizarre incident unfold below:The topless woman had "save the green belt" written across her back, presumably in response to a controversial development plan by the Ontario government.
Lavigne seemed pretty unfazed by the entire thing, and even let the woman saunter around the stage for a little while before finally addressing her.
"Get the f*** off," Lavigne said to the woman, laughing as she did so. "Get the f*** off, b****". This was met with a great cheer from the crowd as they enjoyed the singer's response.
It was then that security jumped into action and escorted the woman off of the stage, though how she was allowed to get up there so easily and be allowed to stroll around for a while remains a mystery.
The 38-year-old went on to claim the TikTok Juno Fan Choice Award that evening and made light of the topless streaker fiasco in her acceptance speech.
Taking to the microphone, Lavigne said: "Now nobody try anything this time or the Canadian's gonna come out of me and I'll f*** a b**** up."
The star later posted on Twitter where she thanked fans for the award as well as referencing the incident again. She wrote: "Thanks to my amazing fans for voting for the TikTok Juno Fan Choice Award. This is my 10th Juno Award and 4th Fan Choice Award. Let’s keep rocking and cheers to the next 20 years! P.S. - Get the f*** off b****!”
This ordeal comes just a week after Lavigne appeared to confirm a new relationship with 33-year-old rapper Tyga after the pair were spotted kissing at Paris Fashion Week.
A source told People: "Tyga and Avril are getting to know each other. It's very new. It's very casual."
The pair were also photographed at the Mugler x Hunter Schafer party where they walked together holding hands, all but confirming that romance was in the air.
This comes shortly after Lavigne separated from Mod Sun - real name Derek Smith - last month, just under a year after they got engaged in Paris.
Writing at the time, Mod said: "The day we met I knew you were the one. Together forever til our days are done. I had a dream where I proposed in Paris. I pulled out a ring + asked you to wear it. I was on one knee as I looked in your eyes. You’re too beautiful for my words to describe.
"I grabbed your hand + took one last breath… I said 'will you marry me?' + she said 'yes'", adding: "I love you Avril."
It's been quite the month for Lavigne, even without topless protestors.
