Bam Margera has decided to get a Britney Spears-inspired tattoo to mark his road to recovery.

The 44-year-old Jackass alum - who has endured a public battle with addiction - paid tribute to the popstar with his new "Oops they did it to me too!" neck ink, which references his time spent in and out of rehab facilities.

Newly sober Margera visited First Hand Tattoo in Pennsylvania this week to get the inking, and the store documented the visit in a video shared on Instagram and TikTok.

In the video, the former professional skateboarder said he's "been through the wringer with the longest Florida shuffle, which means if the interventionist knows you have insurance money they’ll find reasons to keep you there forever."

"So Britney Spears … I’m on your level," Margera added, referencing the 'Toxic' singer’s public battle with mental illness, her previous treatments in rehab facilities as well as his own drug addiction issues.

Fittingly, Spears' 'Oops!… I Did It Again' played in the background of the clip as they showed the lyric the ink of the former stuntman's neck which read: "Britney Spears, oops they did it to me too" followed by a smiley face.

Tattoo artist Nikki Sobeck captioned the Instagram Reel: "Got to tattoo @bam__margera today what a wild ride thanks man for being just genuine and cool!"

According to TMZ, the television personality compared his public struggle with addiction and subsequent rehab stints to Spears's past conservatorship.

He claimed he's "the Guinness Book of World Records of longest Florida shuffle of nearly two years," allegedly including 10 back-to-back stays in treatment centers costing a total of $660,000.

He added to the outlet that he’s sick of "controlling c******kers that act like they care for your well-being when it’s all about money".

The former pro skateboarder marked a month of sobriety last week after being in and out of court-ordered rehab stays in Florida for years, occasionally escaping from the facilities.

He has publicly dealt with numerous arrests for public intoxication, assault charges, and mental health issues leading to being placed under a 72-hour psychiatric hold.

To celebrate his milestone, Margera shared a photo with his girlfriend Dannii Marie on his backup Instagram page and penned: "Thanks to @danniimarieofficial for one month of sobriety and getting me happy, healthy and fit as well as the small circle of friends that have supported us."

Reports stated that Marie had given him an ultimatum to choose between her or substance abuse, and it's believed that he’s working on losing weight while even getting back into skateboarding.

Margera's tattoo comes after reports police performed a welfare check on the 'Baby One More Time' singer after she sparked concern with a recent Instagram video that showed her waving two large knives around while dancing.

"I started playing in the kitchen with knives today," Spears wrote in the caption of the viral clip that spread wildfire on social media.

In a swift response to the concerns, Spears amended the caption of her original video to clarify: "Don’t worry they are NOT real knives!!! Halloween is soon!!!"

In a subsequent video shared on September 29, Spears reiterated her clarification, stating: "I know I spooked everyone with the last post, but these are fake knives that my team rented from Hand Prop shop in LA."

She revealed that "no one needs to worry or call the police" because she was "trying to imitate one of my favorite performers Shakira" after the 'Hips Don't Lie' musician danced with fake knives during her 2023 VMAS performance.

The star then slammed the cops who arrived at her property in another post, writing: "So unacceptable for cops to listen to random fans and come into my home unwarranted...Jesus Christ...Can I make calls and make others feel threatened in your home?"

She claimed that the authorities who came to her home wouldn't leave "until they spoke to me as people did 4-minute performances with knives," adding: "I am getting an apology. I’ve been bullied in my home for so long now.

"As my mom does the silent treatment when paps ask questions about her own daughter as if I’m in the wrong…nope it’s an old game. People need to be responsible for their actions! It’s about power for cops," she concluded.
