Bam Margera's brother has spoken out to reveal his fears for the Jackass star, admitting he believes his brother is "dying".
Jess Margera, 44, took to social media to share a series of updates days after the pro skateboarder turned himself in to police following an altercation between the pair.
Bam handed himself in on Thursday, April 27, and was arraigned and pleaded not guilty and was set a bail of $50,000 after previously going on the run following a physical fight with Jess.
Per Sky News, the Jackass star allegedly punched his brother in the face at their family home in Pocopson Township, Chester County in Philadelphia last Monday.
Police said that Bam had fled into dense woodland before they arrived and had not been seen since, before he eventually handed himself in.
The incident had occurred at around 11:00 AM local time and the investigation concluded that the former Jackass star was "involved in a physical confrontation" with his brother, who sustained minor injuries.
Jess stated that the 43-year-old had left him a threatening handwritten note signed "Bam", and that on the morning of the assault, the attacker was banging on his locked bedroom door. TMZ also reports that police say Bam threatened to harm himself with a firearm.
He is currently charged with simple assault, harassment, and four counts of "terroristic threats".
Jess took to Instagram on Monday to update fans on Bam's health after the stuntman had sworn off drinking and claimed he tested negative for drugs.
Sharing a photo of the pair of them in happier times, Jess wrote on his Instagram story: "I hope none of you have to hurt as much as me right now. He is dying, and there is nothing I can do about it."

Jess also took to Twitter to share several tweets about the alleged incident, writing: "I might have permanent hearing damage from bams desperate lame a** little 'attack' while I was making coffee.
"If that’s the case all of my bands upcoming touring income he will be sued for and I will f**king win. I’m not a fun enemy to have. I will donate all the money to mental health programs."
He added: "I wasn’t going to press any charges at all but his dumb a** lawyer and surprise s**tness talking him into trying to sue me for whatever fake bulls**t they are drooling at him is going to cost him the little bit of $ he has left.
"Sorry it’s just the way I am. If you stab me w a knife I will f**king end you with a Conan the barbarian sword. Sorry not sorry."

He added: "All these strangers that don’t know bam will have to live with themselves if they enable him to his death. But they are strangers. So I don’t think they will be as affected by it as say me, or my parents or his son. They will just shrug & then move on to the next tmz guy on drugs."
Bam had been on the run for five days after a warrant was issued for his arrest, with him escaping into the woods near his castle in Pennsylvania with his girlfriend and her eight-year-old daughter.
After leaving the courthouse, Bam warned his brother that he would sue him for defamation over "false accusations", sharing a photo of himself holding court documents.
He wrote on Instagram at the time: "I just got out of the courthouse with my lawyers. Everything went great and the false accusations of what my brother says are not true and he will be sued for defamation as well as being evicted from castle bam sooner than later.
"The reason this happened is because I read his phone saying he wants me back in California and he wants to find a way to 302 me. F**k him."
Jess had responded on Twitter, writing: "Yeah this meltdown I guess is my fault now. It's always someone else's fault."
Earlier this year, Bam's Jackass co-star Steve-O also expressed his fears that Bam would die, as he told his followers: "I've tried everything I can, but I can't force you to get honest and do the work of recovery.
"I wish you could know how much I've hated feeling braced for news of your death, but you're making it clear that I have no other choice.
"You're dying, brother, and it sucks that I can't do anything to save you."
