Britney Spears has sparked concern on social media once again after uploading a bizarre video of her speaking in an Australian accent.

On Tuesday, the 41-year-old pop icon took to her Instagram page to share a clip where she could be seen talking with a strange accent - that appears to be a mix of Australian and British.

In the footage, the 'Toxic' hitmaker touches upon a variety of subjects such as clothing and then urged her fans to not call the police on her if she deactivates her Instagram again.

The video was captioned: "Stay humble out there, y’all !!! Hi mommy and daddy, I am a star now have you heard??? Carry on peeps…," and it has garnered almost 390K likes on the social media platform at the time of writing.

Watch the bizarre video below:

"So last week, guys, I made a dress," Spears declared in an unusual accent. "I was really proud, diamond panel with a slip in the back. A girlfriend helped me sew it.

"They sent me a dress I didn’t have to make myself!", the 'Baby One More Time' songstress said while waving her hands around frantically.

She then showed off the new garment in question -  which is a dazzling pink mini-dress covered in rhinestones - and remarked: "I can't believe it. I didn't have to make it myself."

The 'Slumber Party' singer then thanked the company for sending her the frock, while holding it up close for the camera and then including another shot of her dancing around with it.

Then, in the same faux accent, Spears reminded and pleaded with her concerned 41.7 million followers that if she decides to come off social media, it’s her own choice and they should not contact the police, after fans had previously called them out to do a welfare check on her when she deactivated her account.

"So, guys, I just want you to know, if I ever shut down my Instagram, do not call the cops," the singer said in the clip and turned the comments off on the post - meaning fans were unable to reply.

Then, out of the blue, Spears shouted "Don’t ever be a roller coaster," before running across the room, holding a gown, and yelling once again: "Never be a roller coaster!"

Upon seeing her video, many people took to Twitter to share their worries about the singer - who was freed from her conservatorship just over a year ago.

One user said: "I really feel sorry for her man. The industry is evil. How is this THE Britney Spears. Huh?"

Another chimed in and commented: "You never know what someone is truly going through & Britney is clearly going through something. I hope she gets the help she needs she's a legend."

A third person stated: "I hope she’s doing okay."

In her video, the 'Stronger' musician was referring to last month when Ventura Co Sheriff’s Office started receiving calls about her right after she deleted her Instagram.

According to TMZ, authorities went to her home in Thousand Oaks to conduct a wellness check and determined that she wasn't in danger.

After the incident, Spears took to her Twitter page to blast her fans for crossing boundaries. She wrote: "As everyone knows the police were called to my home based on some prank phone calls.

"I love and adore my fans but this time things went a little too far and my privacy was invaded," she continued. "The police never entered my home and when they came to my gate they quickly realized there was no issue and left immediately.

"This felt like I was being gaslit and bullied once the incident made it to the news and being portrayed once again in a poor and unfair light by the media," Spears stated. "During this time in my life, I truly hope the public and my fans who I care so much about can respect my privacy moving forward."
