Britney Spears's father Jamie wants his daughter's conservatorship ended immediately and "will not seek future compensation," according to new court documents.
The singer's father was removed as her conservator after 13 years in September after countless fans have long campaigned for an end to the legal arrangement that has controlled her life and finances since 2008.
Britney couldn't believe her luck when a judge ruled that it was in her "best interests" that her dad was suspended from his role.
What's more, the judge said there will be a hearing next month to discuss fully terminating the conservatorship in the coming days.
Now, it's reported that Jamie Spears has filed documents claiming he supports a "full stop".
Court documents first obtained by TMZ state: "Jamie unconditionally loves and supports his daughter.
"Full stop. As he has done for her entire life, Jamie will do everything he can to protect and care for her. For the last 13 years, that included serving as her Conservator. Now, it means ending her Conservatorship."
TMZ claims that the legal papers state that Jamie, 69, is "not seeking any further compensation" or "a release for what went down during the conservatorship."
The outlet also alleges that the Jamie is "willing to be fully transparent in handing over all of his files on the conservatorship in order to officially close the book on this chapter."
"He does insist the way in which he's administered Britney's estate has always been in her best interest," the outlet added, while claiming Jamie is "fully on board with getting his daughter out of the legal apparatus now."
britney has been involved in a bitter public row with Jamie, who she accused of abusing his position as conservator.
The singer spoke out against her father in highly publicized court hearings in June and July, alleging in lengthy testimonies that she was "forced to take Lithium" as a "punishment" and that she was prevented from getting married or having a baby.
She has also targeted her younger sister, Jamie Lynn, 30, for a perceived lack of support in the conservatorship.
Per USA Today, the judge has replaced Jamie with John Zabel, who was chosen by Britney to oversee her finances until the end of the year, with the understanding that the conservatorship may come to a complete end before then.
