Adam Sandler has returned to the IHOP where he was "turned away" by a hostess in a viral TikTok video.

The actor, 54, returned part of a new "Milkshake Money" promotion inspired by his first visit, which saw him leave after he discovered that the all-you-can-eat promotion didn't apply to the milkshakes.

Teenage waitress Dayanna Rodas took to Twitter to post a TikTok of the pair's reunion on May 10 that was captioned: "Couldn't have been more excited!! Thank you, Adam Sandler!"

The pair were wearing "IHOP" face masks and had met as part of the restaurant's charity promotion which saw branches in the Long Island area offer all-you-can-drink milkshakes.

A select amount of nationwide profits will be donated to the nonprofit organization Comedy Gives Back.

The promotion was created after the actor caught wind of the hostess's initial viral video from April 25.

In the initial post, Sandler and his daughter could be seen leaving the establishment after they were told that they'd have to wait 30 minutes for a table.

After the video went viral, the Uncut Gems star responded on Twitter, writing: "For the record, I only left the IHOP because the nice woman told me the all-you-can-eat deal didn't apply to the milkshakes."

But now the Manhasset, Long Island, restaurant has decided to pay tribute to the actor with a "Milkshake Monday" tribute to him.

The actor took to Twitter on May 10 to post a picture of his happy-looking dog outside the restaurant.

It was captioned: "Thank u IHOP for Milkshake Monday."

Dayanna posted her initial viral TikTok on April 25. It features her sporting a clown face alongside security footage of her exchange with the actor, who she didn't recognize.

"Pleaseee come back," she wrote. "Not realizing its Adam Sandler and telling him its a 30min wait and him ofc leaving bc hes not going to wait 30mins for IHOP [sic]."

She followed this up with another post explaining that  she'd "never seen Adam Sandler with a beard" and added, "the mask didn't help."

The Comedy Gives Back charity was designed to help performers and venues affected by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
