Adult actress Alix Lynx has revealed some of the common mistakes made by men between the sheets.
While she has ventured from professional sets to her own OnlyFans content, Lynx, real name Leah Rockwell Reid Breyette, is known for what she does off-camera as much as her on-camera acts.
The 37-year-old makes five figures a month with her content, which can range from the sexy to the outrageous.
While she had built up a following on social media with NSFW content, she has also made a number of sexual admissions over the years, including what makes the perfect manhood.
But now, the adult actor has opened up about common bedroom mistakes which drive her up the wall.
After nearly 15 years in the industry, it's fair to say that she knows a thing or two.
Speaking to IGV, the adult star was critical about some no-nos she's seen men do in between the sheets.
She said that there are three major mistakes which many men are making, and it may be ruining the experience for their partner.
Lynx explained: “Skipping foreplay is the number one mistake men make in bed,
“Going too fast and just rushing straight into it.
“Skipping kissing, and just ripping your clothes off can be hot sometimes, but rarely. Like, c’mon, you’re really just gonna go for it immediately?” she asked.
Lynx said that women need time to get into the right mood, comparing it to "a DJ set," as the crowd needs to be ready "before you make the drop."
“Men skip f***play, and they need to realise it makes a world of difference. I know it’s a lot easier for dudes to get off, but we’re wired so differently. We need time; you need to take things slow,” she highlighted.
This one is more practical, but in a shock to absolutely no one, Lynx emphasized that hygiene matters.
The OnlyFans model explained: “Not grooming and being clean is the second biggest mistake men make,
“It just lacks self-awareness. This isn’t super common, but it’s definitely something I’ve noticed. Like, are you even taking care of yourself? Are you grooming?"
She went on, to further drive home her point: "Are you just letting everything go and not even thinking about it? Seriously, dude – take a damn shower. If you just got back from the gym, wash your b***s.”
As with all situations in life, things are different for each person, as Lynx pointed out: “I think going on autopilot, and not taking your time to feel out what’s working and what’s not, is a huge no-no.”
She said that "assuming" things will work because "it worked last time" is a lazy way to look at things.
"Every woman is different, you know? You’ve gotta talk, and you have to communicate,” she urged, while also pointing out that men treat her differently due to her profession.
Lynx said that men are often "super intimidated" when they find out about her profession in the adult industry, claiming: "I don’t want to sound harsh, but let’s just say some things go down… I feel bad, but it’s just what happens."
She also highlighted: “I’ve also noticed that because they’ve watched me online, they think that’s exactly what I want, and that’s just not the case. I’m like, no buddy, that was the character I was playing.”

Adult film star Riley Reid has seen it all - but there’s one simple mistake guys make in the bedroom that she says is a total mood killer.
Known for her top-tier status in the adult industry and a fortune reportedly worth $19 million, Reid recently opened up on the Stiff Socks Podcast about a surprisingly common turn-off that’s both avoidable and, frankly, gross.
Reid didn’t mince words when describing her biggest bedroom ick.
"I hate it when a guy doesn't brush his teeth, he wants to kiss and he's got some rank a** breath," she said. "That s**t kills the mood."
And she's not alone = morning breath is hardly sexy, especially when things are heating up.
"It's disgusting," she added, explaining why she’s not a fan of morning intimacy.
Her advice? Before you start anything spicy, make a quick trip to the bathroom. A two-minute brush could make all the difference.
Reid has often spoken candidly about her experience in the adult industry—both the highs and the hard truths. Despite her success, she’s clear that fame in p*rn doesn't come without a cost.
In a since-deleted YouTube video from 2020, she admitted she doesn’t recommend others get into the industry.
"A lot of times when people ask me if they should do p*rn, I tell them no," Reid said.
"I tell them that it makes life really hard, it makes dating really hard, it makes your family life really hard, it makes intimacy hard."
She explained that being publicly judged can wear you down over time.
"If you're putting yourself out there and the world is now judging you, you have to be OK with being shamed every day of your life."
Reid even expressed hesitation about having kids due to how others might treat them.
"I don't even want to have children because I do p*rn, because I'm worried [about] the way that people will treat my child."
Despite the challenges, Reid’s career has also brought financial security. On the Stiff Socks Podcast, she shared how her earnings helped her after giving birth to her first child.
"Having a child is a lot. I have a night nurse, I have a personal chef, I have a cleaning crew, I have my employees," she said.
"I have all of this help... I think I would have had severe depression if I didn't have the help because it is a lot."
Her transparency extends to her earnings too. In past interviews, she detailed how she strategically priced her first adult scenes and even negotiated to release content on her own site.
Now married to Latvian free runner Pasha Petkuns and a mom, Reid continues to keep it real - whether she’s talking about finances, fame, or funky breath in bed.

An OnlyFans star who slept with 101 men in a single day has unveiled a huge mistake that she made during the challenge.
As you've probably seen while scrolling social media, Lily Phillips has recently become the talk of the town.
The 23-year-old British adult star undertook the challenge of sleeping with 100 men in a single day, and she succeeded.
The event, which sparked both fascination and criticism, has been detailed in a new documentary by YouTuber Josh Pieters, who provided an exclusive behind-the-scenes look.
In one emotional moment, Phillips broke down in tears, reflecting on the physical and emotional toll of the challenge.
“Sometimes you just disassociate... it’s not like normal sex at all,” Phillips admitted. “In my head, I can think of five, six guys, 10 guys that I remember. And that’s it. It’s just weird, isn’t it? If I didn’t have the videos I wouldn’t have known that I’d done a hundred.”
She described the process as “robotic,” saying: “Just one in, one out, it feels intense. It’s not for the weak girls, if I am honest, it was hard.”
Pieters, who documented the experience, aimed to present a nuanced perspective on Phillips’ journey.
“It was vital that we showed as many sides to this complex scenario as possible,” he told news.com.au.
He reflected on witnessing Phillips’ emotional struggle. “Seeing Lily emotionally break down at the end of her challenge was extremely sad... despite her saying this was her ‘fantasy,’ I couldn’t shake the feeling that this was not going to be as easy and happy as she wanted it to be.”
Concerns intensified after Phillips admitted she did not use protection during oral sex with her participants.
In the documentary, she recounted her routine with each man, which began with oral sex.
When asked by Pieters if she used condoms for this part of the act, Phillips replied: “No, I didn’t,” though she confirmed condoms were used for intercourse.
Pieters then asked if she worried about contracting HIV, to which Phillips responded: “Is that where it comes from?”
Appearing surprised, she added: “Really? See, I’ve never really thought about that.”
The exchange has raised alarms online, with many questioning her understanding of sexual health risks.
HIV, which is transmitted through bodily fluids including semen and blood, poses a significant risk in unprotected sexual encounters.
Medical professionals have raised alarms about the extreme physical and psychological risks associated with such challenges.
Dr. Zac Turner, a preventive health specialist, warned about the potential dangers of undertaking such a physical challenge.
“Sex, at its core, is a physically demanding activity that engages various muscles, the cardiovascular system, and the release of endorphins,” he told the New York Post.
While moderate sexual activity is beneficial, Turner emphasized that the sheer magnitude of Phillips’ challenge could lead to severe harm.
“Fatigue diminishes the pleasurable aspects, and the constant physical exertion transitions from beneficial to harmful,” he explained. Risks include tearing, bruising, soreness, and long-term strain on the body.
Despite the backlash, Phillips remains focused on her ultimate goal: breaking the world record for the most men slept with in 24 hours.
The current record, set in 2004 by adult film star Lisa Sparks, stands at 919 men, and Phillips is aiming to sleep with 1000 men in 24 hours.

Riley Reid, one of the adult film industry's most well-known stars, got candid about her personal preferences when it comes to intimacy, as well as her experiences in a past relationship.
Appearing on an episode of Pillowtalk Podcast, Reid revealed what she finds most appealing in a partner.
She also opened up about how an ex-boyfriend made her feel "disgusting" due to his views on her career.
During her conversation on Pillowtalk Podcast, Reid was asked about her biggest tips for men, particularly when it comes to setting the mood.
The adult performer emphasized the importance of building anticipation and avoiding rushing into the act.
“I personally like to start with clothes on,” she explained.
“I don’t think that you should come in and start butt a** naked – like, drop your towel bulls***,” she continued, making it clear that she prefers a slower, more sensual approach to intimacy.
Reid pointed out that diving straight into the action leaves little room for playful foreplay, which she enjoys.
“There’s no f***ing foreplay, or anything to play with. I can’t tease you with your socks or anything… Like, maybe I’ll take them and shove them in my mouth,” she joked.
However, Reid’s most important piece of advice was focused on pacing.
“Avoid any of the hyper-stimulating areas until almost the last possible moment, because that will get them so excited that they’re going to be like ‘f***ing touch me,’” she explained.
While Reid is known for her openness in the bedroom, she’s also been open about her personal life, especially when it comes to the struggles she faced with an ex-boyfriend who negatively impacted her mental health.
In a revealing moment on the podcast, Reid shared that her ex would refuse to kiss her after work, making her feel unwanted and "disgusting."
Reid said: “He made me feel like maybe I should quit [porn] and stuff,” reflecting on the emotional toll his behavior had on her.
She continued: “He didn’t wanna kiss me when I came home from work.
"So, like, [it] made me feel like a disgusting person. And I’m not disgusting! It’s harsh. It was so horrible when he told me that.”
This isn't the first time Reid has spoken out about the challenges she faced in her past relationship.
In a 2022 appearance on the No Jumper podcast, she discussed how her ex's "anti-porn" stance almost led her to quit the adult industry.
“My ex was so anti-porn, I almost quit porn because I thought I hated porn, but then I realized I just hated him,” Reid shared.

Johnny Sins, probably the most famous male adult film star in the world, has offered his thoughts on what men could do better in the bedroom.
We're all human, and the majority of us will have contemplated what to do in the bedroom to take things up a notch.
Obviously, the best thing to do is just talk to your partner to find out what they want... but is there anything else that can be done?
Well, the man who is probably best placed to offer his expertise has given some tips.
Johnny Sins, 45, has a prolific career featuring hundreds of adult films and a massive social media following.
In an exclusive interview with Daily Mail Australia, the American performer emphasized the importance of prioritizing a partner's pleasure.
"I think guys are very selfish in the bedroom," Sins remarked. "A lot of guys these days are just trying to get themselves off and pleasure themselves rather than their partners."
He stressed the need for men to adopt a more selfless approach, stating: "And that's the exact opposite of what you should be doing."
Sins highlighted the significance of being a 'pleaser' in bed, revealing his own approach to intimate encounters.
"I've always wanted to please the girl I was with and make her orgasm 10, 20 times before I even think about it," he proudly shared.
"Because by the time I orgasm it's over for the most part, and for me, it's the sex that I really enjoy, so I like to prolong that as long as possible. My advice is to pay more attention to your partner and get them off as many times as you can."
Addressing common concerns from men, Sins noted that many seek advice on enhancing their physical attributes.
"That's the number one question and unfortunately, besides some risky surgeries there's just no other way," he said.
Sins has been a fixture in the adult industry for fifteen years, gaining immense popularity in recent years due to viral memes and a strong social media presence.
So there we are guys, take it from an expert himself!
