Amanda Bynes reveals she's spent the last two months 'in treatment'

Former Nickelodeon star Amanda Bynes has taken to social media to provide her fans with an update on her life, detailing how she has been "in treatment" for the last two months.

The 34-year-old has previously been vocal about her struggles with mental health issues, and in 2018 told Paper Magazine that she was sorry for the things she had said while battling with substance abuse:

"I'm really ashamed and embarrassed with the things I said. I can't turn back time but if I could, I would. And I'm so sorry to whoever I hurt and whoever I lied about because it truly eats away at me. It makes me feel so horrible and sick to my stomach."
