Bob Odenkirk has taken to social media to thank his fans for the outpouring of love he received after suffering a "small heart attack".
According to reports, Odenkirk, 58, was rushed to hospital after collapsing on the set of the TV show Better Call Saul on Tuesday, July 27.
The actor was said to be filming the sixth and final season of the Breaking Bad spin-off in a desert in New Mexico.
On Friday, July 30, the Mr. Show star took to Twitter to share an update with his 760K followers.
"Hi. It’s Bob," Odenkirk tweeted. "Thank you. To my family and friends who have surrounded me this week. And for the outpouring of love from everyone who expressed concern and care for me. It’s overwhelming. But I feel the love and it means so much."
He continued: "I had a small heart attack. But I’m going to be OK, thanks to Rosa Estrada and the doctors who knew how to fix the blockage without surgery."
Odenkirk then shared his gratitude towards the network on which Better Call Saul airs as well as the company that produces the series.
He added: "Also, AMC and SONYs support and help throughout this has been next-level. I'm going to take a beat to recover but I'll be back soon."
A day after Odenkirk's collapse, his son Nate tweeted a message of hope to his own followers, telling them his dad is "going to be okay."
A spokesperson for the actor had revealed previously that he'd simply had a "heart-related incident."
The spokesperson said, per The Hollywood Reporter: "We can confirm Bob is in stable condition after experiencing a heart-related incident.
"He and his family would like to express gratitude for the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him, as well as his cast, crew, and producers who have stayed by his side.
"The Odenkirks would also like to thank everyone for the outpouring of well wishes and ask for their privacy at this time as Bob works on his recovery."
Odenkirk has received four Emmy nominations for playing Jimmy McGill AKA Saul Goodman in Better Call Saul. The character had appeared in a number of episodes of the iconic show Breaking Bad before getting a spin-off series.
