It appears that Britney Spears may have just revealed a big development in her life.
On March 4, 39-year-old Spears shared a very handsome shot of her partner, 28-year-old Sam Asghari on his birthday. The actor and fitness trainer can be seen lounging on a sunbed while dressed in a sharp suit.
Interestingly enough, his left hand (and therefore his ring finger) is kept hidden - but that's not the subtle detail Britney's followers picked up on.
Instead, the beloved singer was more 'to the point' in her caption, as she wrote: "Such an amazing pic of my husband @samasghari !!!! He’s such a hard worker and he amazes me each day with his passion for life !!!! I’m so lucky to be able to share my life with him …. HAPPY BIRTHDAY".
Fans were instantly taken aback by the caption, with many posting the same one-word comment:
The caption is even more eye-opening after realizing that Britney shared a sweet snap of the two of them on March 3, in which she called Asghari her "fiancé".
In that snap, the pair could be seen posing in front of a beautiful sunset, as the singer wrote in the caption: "Happy Birthday to my Fiancé … I love you so much … I want a family with you … I want it all with you !!!!"
So, has the couple tied the knot? Is Britney's post confirmation of their nuptials or just the singer getting over-excited? I guess we'll just have to wait patiently for some more clues.
Spears and Asghari first met on the set of a music video back in 2016.
After dating for several years, the two got engaged back in September, with the couple confirming the news in a series of Instagram snaps.
Sadly, at the time, Britney's highly-publicized conservatorship trial was coming to an end, and many of the singer's fans responded to the happy news by telling her to sign a prenup.
Asghari would later respond to the calls for a prenup, sharing an Instagram Story which read: "That you to everyone who is concerned about The prenup! Of course we're getting iron clad prenup to protect my jeep and shoe collection [in case] she dumps me one day".
