Britney Spears fans have voiced their concern following the singer's latest racy Instagram post.
Ever since the 40-year-old singer was granted her release from her conservatorship last year, she has delighted many of her followers with her fun-loving, free-spirited, and very candid posts on Instagram.
The 'Baby (One More Time)' hitmaker has frequently taken to the platform to share very open posts - whether that's calling out her alleged treatment during her 13-year conservatorship or sharing nude photos.
In fact, the latter was recently highlighted after Spears' ex-husband, 44-year-old Kevin Federline, claimed in an interview that her racy photos have contributed to their teenage sons - Sean Preston Federline and Jayden James Federline - choosing not to see their mom.
Nevertheless, many of Britney's fans have often supported the singer's posts - echoing the thoughts of her husband, Sam Asghari, who has previously described Spears' Instagram posts as "harmless" and "expression of [her] newly found freedom".
However, Britney's latest post has left many of her fans divided - with some voicing their concern for the chart-topper in the comments section.
Britney has frequently used her Instagram page to express herself:The post, which was shared on Sunday (November 27), shows Britney sitting naked in a bathtub - with the star using her hands and a flower emoji to negate the platform's community guidelines.
But as well as the revealing photos, fans were also concerned with the post's accompanying caption, which read: "I like to s*ck [...] !!! Never professional pics … s**king comes easy for me !!! Keep clapping b**ch [...]!!!"
As of this writing, the post has been live for around 14 hours and amassed over 1 million likes, with many comments continuing to offer support to Britney. "YOU EXPRESS YOURSELF QUEEN," one person commented, with another adding: "She's a grown woman and can make her own decisions whether you think they're good or bad ones."
Nevertheless, and perhaps as expected, there were many comments from fans expressing their concern for Spears, with one person commenting: "This is just really sad to watch."
Another Instagram user added: "Anyone supporting this behavior should be ashamed of themselves. Something is very wrong here."
"I love Britney very much - but this inappropriate behavior is strange and unreasonable," added a third.
And another commented: "There's nothing sexy, edgy, fun, or artistic about this. This is genuinely sad and disturbing."
Other social media users also called out Instagram for continuing to permit the star to share such revealing posts, with one person writing: "How is Instagram letting her post this? If ANYONE else were to post this it would be taken down immediately."
With another user writing: "I wish @instagram would deactivate her account until she is well enough to be posting on it. It’s doing more damage than good."
