Lily Phillips has built an online career around pushing boundaries, but one part of her content continues to spark more backlash than almost anything else she posts.
The OnlyFans creator, who rose to fame after claiming she slept with 101 men in a single day back in 2024, regularly shares "before and after" photos following her explicit filming sessions.
While the posts are designed to promote her exclusive content on the subscriber platform, they have also drawn criticism from viewers.
The first image usually shows the 24-year-old looking camera-ready and glamorous, while the second captures her immediately after filming, often with liquid on her face, messy hair, bloodshot eyes, and her clothing partially removed.
The contrast is meant to hint at what happened between the two photos.
One recent post featuring her boyfriend Sammy left many followers baffled, with one person commenting: "What the hell is wrong with the world..."
A second simply said: "Disgusting," while a third added: "Why would you pose for a photo looking like that ? Disgraceful."
A fourth shared: "I genuinely cant believe this is real. How can a man stand next to his 'women' all happy whilst shes got 10 different bodily fluids on her face."
According to Metro, Sssh.com - a sex-positive porn platform which has a 76 percent female audience - discovered that facial content was the second most disliked act on the site.
Many women reportedly described the sex kink as "degrading" and "overly performative."
Sex and relationship coach Courtney Boyer believes the criticism goes beyond the act itself.
"For decades we've been sold a version of sex where the man's pleasure is the climax of the story, and the woman's body becomes the stage on which it is performed," she told the outlet.
"It can feel like sex shifts from something being shared to something being done to them. Plenty of people enjoy it, but if it isn’t rooted in mutual desire, it can leave women feeling more like an object than a participant," she added.
Despite the backlash, the adult star has continued posting the "before and after" images and videos, which have become her trademark.
She shared similar photos following several of her headline-making challenges, including her attempt to sleep with 1,113 men in a single day.
She also posted the same style of content after filming with truck drivers and collaborating with fellow OnlyFans creator Annie Knight.
Although Phillips continues to work in the adult industry, she recently revealed there is one rule she and her boyfriend, Australian influencer Sammy, have agreed on.
The couple, who met through Knight, no longer allows kissing in scenes with other performers because they consider it too intimate.
"It's more like something we made as a decision together," Phillips told the Daily Star. "We find kissing really intimate. I don't know why but out of everything you do sexually, kissing is the most intimate thing."
"And I wanted to save that for us. You don't need kissing to make porn so I just took it off the table. It is quite nice just to have that just for us," she added.
Sammy said Phillips' work does not make him jealous, adding: "She comes home to me at the end of the day."
The OnlyFans model has also praised her partner for supporting her career, calling him the "most understanding, caring, thoughtful person ever".
