Grimes has revealed that Elon Musk sent pictures of her having a C-section to family and friends, and couldn't fathom why she was upset.
In case you missed it, Musk, 52, and Grimes (real name Claire Boucher), 35, welcomed a secret third child at some point during their relationship, which was unveiled in a new biography aptly titled 'Elon Musk'.
Their one-year-old daughter goes by the name Exa Dark Sideræl, lovingly nicknamed Y, and their three-year-old son sports the unique name X Æ A-12.
The name of the secret child? Techno Mechanicus.
In other weird Musk news, though let's be honest - nothing he does is surprising anymore - Grimes has claimed that he sent photos of her getting a C-section and had no idea why anyone was annoyed about it.
Walter Isaacson is the man who penned the Musk biography, and an excerpt obtained by People has revealed all about the bizarre argument.
Musk sent the snaps of Grimes in a pretty revealing situation to his and her friends and family, with the singer stating: "He was just clueless about why I'd be upset."
This revelation comes following a romance that was shrouded in secrecy, which began in 2018, as reported by Page Six.
Their love story began with a shared sense of humor, as Musk had intended to craft a witty tweet about artificial intelligence, only to discover that Grimes had beaten him to the punch. Their connection swiftly blossomed from there.
Their first child, X, arrived in May 2020, followed by the birth of Exa Dark Sideræl in December 2021 via a surrogate. However, the couple's relationship encountered turbulence, ultimately leading to their separation shortly after their daughter's birth.
Grimes took to Twitter (now also known as X) to express her sentiments, saying: "Me and E have broken up again since the writing of this article haha, but he’s my best friend and the love of my life, and my life and art are forever dedicated to The Mission now."
While the status of their relationship remains uncertain, the two were spotted together in Portofino, Italy, in July, accompanied by their son. Though not pictured together, the Daily Mail reported that they stayed at the same upscale hotel during their visit.
Grimes recently made a heartfelt plea via Twitter to reconnect with her son, addressing Musk with a since-deleted tweet, where she implored: "Tell Shivon (Zilis, mother of Musk's twins) to unblock me and tell Elon to let me see my son or plz respond to my lawyer. I have never even been allowed to see a photo of these children until this moment, despite the situation utterly ripping my family apart."
She has since retracted her statement in a new post, writing: "I spoke with Shivon at length finally, which was long overdue. This wasn't her fault, plz don't be angry at her!
"I wish I could show u how cute little Techno is - but my priority rn is keeping my babies out of the public eye."
In total, Elon Musk now has 11 children, shared with three different women.
Musk and hi first wife Justine Wilson welcomed their first child, Nevada Alexander, in 2002, but tragically lost him to sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) when he was just 10 weeks old.
Following their loss, Musk and Wilson welcomed twins, Griffin and Vivian, in 2004. The family expanded further in January 2006 with the arrival of triplets - Kai, Saxon, and Damian. Two years later, Musk and Wilson divorced.
Musk and Zilis, who was director of operations and special projects at Musk's company Neuralink, were revealed to have had twins in November 2021, born weeks before Musk and Grimes had their second child via surrogate in December.
