Adele is back, and seemingly funnier than ever.
Over the weekend, the songstress took to Instagram Live to share a preview of her upcoming single 'Easy On Me' and while doing so, she answered a few questions from her fans.
While the majority wanted to know details about her new album, others were curious about other things - including a very curious fan who asked the 33-year-old what her "body count" is — that is, how many people she's slept with.
Needless to say, her reaction was iconic.
Reading the question out, Adele looked seriously confused, and simply replied: "What does that mean?"
Either she didn't know what the term was referring to, or she wanted an easy way out.
Her response was met with major laughter from fans, who took to social media to make light of the singer's hilarious response.
"NOT SOMEONE ASKING ADELE HER BODY COUNT LMAOOO," commented one fan on Twitter, while another replied: "Which one of you nosey ass b*tches asked Adele her body count."
A third added: "Oh I love Adele not knowing what body count is."
This comes after the famously private singer opened up about her 2019 divorce from Simon Konecki, and the impact that it had on their young son, Angelo, in a new interview with British Vogue.
She revealed that her upcoming album was recorded to help her nine-year-old understand why she and Konecki got divorced.
"I wanted to explain to him through this record, when he's in his twenties or thirties, who I am and why I voluntarily chose to dismantle his entire life in the pursuit of my own happiness," she said.
"It made him really unhappy sometimes. And that's a real wound for me that I don't know if I'll ever be able to heal," she added.
On October 5, Adele released a sample of her single, 'Easy On Me'. It's due to be released on Friday, October 15.
