Social media users are praising Harry Styles after he helped a fan come out during his show at Wembley Stadium this weekend.

Per The Huffington Post, the 28-year-old 'As It Was' singer was performing in London over the weekend as part of his Love On Tour.

During the show, the musician took the opportunity to interact with the crowd when he spotted a sign with a message that read: "From Ono To Wembley: Help Me Come Out".

In the clip, the former One Direction singer can be seen holding up the fan’s sign for the audience as he asks the crowd: "So, you’d like the people of Wembley to bring you out?"

After being met with rejoicing cheers, Styles grabs a rainbow flag from the front of the stage and declares: "When this [pride] flag goes above my head, you are officially out."

"I think that’s how it works," he jested. "When this flag goes over the head, you’re officially gay, my boy."

Accompanied by a drum roll, the 'Watermelon Sugar' singer teased the raising of the Pride flag for a few seconds, and then joked: "Nope, still straight," before triumphantly raising it.

Styles then told the fan: "Congratulations, you are a free man," before blowing him some kisses to mark the special occasion. "Holy moly, the adrenaline!"

Fans reacted to the heartfelt encounter on social media with compliments for the singer after sharing the now-viral video.

One user wrote: "As a not straight person, I can't hold my tears for this."

Another shared: "NO WORDS, HAAAARRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY YOU’RE THE BEST."

A third commented: "@Harry_Styles is a beautiful human,"

A fourth user said: "This was wholesome to watch and be a part of."

This isn't the first time the musician has shown his support for the LGBTQIA+ community on stage. Styles helped a fan come out to her mother at a concert in Milwaukee in November.

Standing near the stage, the fan caught the 'Falling' singer’s attention with her large poster that read: "My mom is in section 201. Help me come out??"

After seeing the post, Styles shouted "Lisa, she’s gay!" and the crowd erupted into cheers, leaving the pair overcome with emotion.

The fan then spoke about the special moment to The Independent and said: "Harry and my mom both mean so much to me. To be able to share this moment it’s literally indescribable."

Harry Styles demonstrated his romantic side during a recent concert in Europe.

The pop star delighted fans at a concert in Lisbon, Portugal when he helped one gig-goer propose to their girlfriend on Wednesday evening (August 3).

This isn't the first time the 'Watermelon Sugar' singer has helped a fan pop the question. He's dedicated a special segment of his Love On Tour performances to audience members, who are often holding up signs. So far, quite a few people have taken advantage of the segment s the perfect opportunity to propose.

However, this time Styles made the moment extra special. In a clip of the proposal shared on social media, Styles can be seen stopping the concert when a fan holds up a sign reading: "Will you help me to propose?"

The fan - whose name was Carl according to a report by MailOnline - asked Styles if he could borrow his microphone to sing a few lines to his girlfriend Marianna.

Styles made sure to quiz Carl on the relationship before handing over his mic, saying: "If this is like a two-week thing, no chance I'm giving you the microphone. How long have you been together?"

Carl replied: "More than a year, a little more."

Uncertain, Styles turned to the crowd for advice. "What do you think? Do you get the microphone for a little more than a year?"

When the audience screamed in approval, he handed over his mic. To everyone's astonishment - including Styles' - Carl then began to sing Elvis Presley's 'Can't Help Falling In Love'.

Encouraged by the 'As It Was' hitmaker, the crowd joined in for a few lines before watching Carl go down on one knee and ask partner Marianna if she would marry him.

Unsurprisingly, she grabbed the microphone and screamed: "Yes!"

Styles has a reputation for helping fans out during his concerts.

Harry Styles was left wincing in pain after being hit in the face by another object thrown on stage by a fan during his Love On Tour show in Vienna, Austria, on Saturday.

The 'Watermelon Sugar' star, 29, was filmed recoiling and grabbing his face in shock after an unknown object was thrown at his eye.

In the video, shared by Pop Crave, Styles is seen casually strolling across the stage when a small object flies into the frame, seemingly landing near his left eye.

The clip also had the words "Stop throwing s**t at him!!!!!" written in overlay text as fans begged others not to risk injuring the star.

It's not the first time the Grammy-winning star has been hit by things on stage, having also had a flower bouquet thrown at him while performing in Cardiff last month during his sold-out Love On Tour run.

After wrapping up his show at Cardiff's Principality Stadium, Styles was greeted by a floral arrangement thrown by a fan, which struck him mid-stride as he interacted with the crowd. Despite his initial shock, the 'Adore You' singer shook off the incident, carrying on with his performance.

In a similar occurrence late last year, the Don't Worry Darling actor was hit with a handful of Skittles during a Los Angeles concert stop. This incident was also caught on camera, showing Styles reacting swiftly to protect his eye.

Styles is nearing the end of his Love On Tour schedule, which started in September 2021, and has only four more performances lined up in Spain, Portugal, and Italy before concluding the tour on July 22.

It's not just Styles that's had to face items being thrown at them on stage recently, as Drake narrowly missed a cell phone thrown at him during a Chicago stop on his It's All A Blur Tour with 21 Savage. Bebe Rexha was also struck by a smartphone during a June performance, causing her to need stitches for a resulting black eye.

Despite being left injured and needing medical treatment, she later reassured fans via Instagram, saying: "I'm good."

The phone-thrower, Nicolas Malvagna, was subsequently arrested and charged with assault, as confirmed by authorities to the Daily Mail.

His lawyer Todd A. Spodek told the publication: "As a fan, Mr. Malvagna's sole intention was to have Ms. Rexha take photos with his phone, and return it as a keepsake. It was never his intention to injure Ms. Rexha."

Country pop singer Kelsea Ballerini was also recently hit in the eye by a bracelet thrown from the crowd during a live performance. She reassured fans via a statement, writing: "hi, i'm fine. someone threw a bracelet, it hit me in the eye and it more so just scared me than hurt me.

"We all have triggers and layers of fears way deeper than what is shown, and that's why i walked offstage to calm down and make sure myself, band and crew, and the crowd felt safe to continue. that's all i ever want, is for shows to feel like a safe place for us all..."

Even singer Pink faced a bizarre incident when a fan threw a bag of their mother's ashes on stage during a UK tour stop.

Adele, during a recent Las Vegas residency concert, also expressed her frustration at this rising trend. She was quoted in a KTLA video saying: "People are like, forgetting f**king show etiquette at the moment? People just throwing s**t on stage."

She then warned: "I f**king dare you. Dare you to throw something at me and I’ll f**king kill you."

Sam Smith has sadly announced that their scheduled concert is canceled after the performer and their team fell ill last week.

The 30-year-old Grammy-winning musician was expected to perform at the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham on Tuesday (April 25) for the next date of their Gloria tour but was struck down by a mystery virus.

Taking to their Instagram Story, the 'Unholy' singer informed their 14.7 million followers: "Sailors, I am so sorry to let you know that my team and I are still really not well, so, unfortunately, we need to reschedule our Birmingham show to the 27th of May 2023."

"It’s so important to me that we give you the very best version of Gloria. I don’t want you to experience it at anything less," they continued. "Thank you so much for understanding, I know how excited everyone is to see the show, and I feel the same about seeing all of you."

In the next slide, Smith shared a picture of themselves donning a flowing white robe while posing on a white block in front of a gold background, with the details about the new date for the show.

The 'Stay With Me' star reassured their fans that all tickets would be valid for the changed date of Saturday, May 27.

The cancellation comes just days after Smith sadly pulled out of performing at the OVO Hydro Arena in Glasgow, Scotland, on Saturday (April 22).

According to the Daily Mail, the hitmaker explained how they and their team were feeling "really unwell" and would be rescheduling the concert for next month.

"Sailors, I'm so sorry to say but we have to reschedule the Glasgow show to 25th May 2023," Smith wrote. "Myself and a lot of my team have been hit with a virus, that's made us really unwell. I want to give you the best version of Gloria the Tour and at the moment that's not possible. It was also really important to me that we had another date to move this to straight away."

"We will celebrate Gloria together!! All previous tickets are still valid for the new date. For any more information go to my website www.samsmithworld.com. All my love, Sam," Smith concluded.

The Brit has hit headlines over the last few months due to their live performances of their number one single 'Unholy' - which tells the story of someone in an adulterous relationship.

Smith has recreated the scandalous subject matter of the song by repeatedly taking to the stage in striking outfits that have a "demonic" flare - as seen in their controversial Grammy Award performance.

Recently, footage from their highly-anticipated Gloria tour was shared online - in which the 'Stay With Me' singer sported an all-black costume with red and gold detailing.

Several public figures were outraged by the look, including Andrew Tate, 36, who misgendered the non-binary star as he tweeted: "This is Sam Smith. Why does he need to literally worship the devil as openly and abhorrently as possible to sing his songs?"

British TV personality Piers Morgan also joined the discourse by criticizing Smith and their performance after they performed at London's 02 Arena.

During the performance, the 'La La La' hitmaker took their corset off to appear topless onstage with black tape covering their nipples - something the 58-year-old discussed during his segment on Talk TV.

"My point about Sam Smith is it's just an orgy, of in my view, a narcissistic self-indulgent deliberately shocking stuff," Morgan said, via Express. "He looks terrible! Why would you do this?"

Many fans took to their social media to defend the singer following the infamous TV personality's remarks.

Sam Smith fans were left confused after the singer abruptly canceled their concert after playing four songs.

The 31-year-old Grammy award winner was scheduled to perform at the AO Arena in Manchester, England on Wednesday (May 24).

However, things took an unexpected turn mid-show after Smith sang their 2017 single 'Too Good at Goodbyes' when they left the stage and the venue suddenly went dark.

Confused fans were then informed over the tannoy that the 'Unholy' hitmaker would not be returning to the stage due to "vocal issues," according to Metro.

Many disappointed concertgoers took to Twitter to share their bewilderment at the sudden cancellation. One person wrote: "Really odd night at Sam Smith's Manchester show. Brilliant vocals & great energy for a handful of songs, a promise of an exclusive of a new song at the end. A few songs in, the stage goes black before house lights come up and it's announced that the show's canceled."

Another fan said: "Sam Smith's concert started off INCREDIBLE like banger after banger and then everything stopped, they ended up canceling I'm so f***ing sad," while a third remarked: "Well all was going great at the Sam Smith concert until urm… they canceled it after 4 songs… FUMING!!"

A few hours later, the 'Stay With Me' vocalist shared a statement about the incident on their Instagram: "Dearest sailors, I don't know what to say honestly. I fought off a virus a few weeks ago and since then we have traveled across Europe and had such incredible shows. Today in soundcheck I felt fine and was so excited to give Manchester an amazing show tonight, with a special surprise at the end," they explained, referring to a rumored performance by Madonna.

"During my third song, I noticed something wrong with my voice. I prayed it was just my voice waking up for the show but into the fourth song I could feel something was really wrong. I came off stage and have tried everything to get my voice back in gear but it won't. I am honestly heartbroken I couldn't finish the show tonight for you all. I love you all. I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry," they added.

Following this statement, Smith's representatives later released a further message for the singer's fans on their Instagram story, which read: "Due to vocal issues during last night's Manchester performance, regrettably we will be canceling the rescheduled Birmingham and Glasgow Sam Smith shows."

The statement continued: "A spokesperson said 'doctors have advised due to a vocal cord injury, Sam must have complete vocal rest. Sam is heartbroken to have had to cancel these shows but they have been told by doctors that if they keep singing, they will do permanent damage to their voice. If they take some rest they will be able to perform again.'"

Fans have been left frustrated at the canceled shows, but have also sent their best wishes to Smith, who will hopefully begin performing again after taking some rest.
