Legendary television presenter Larry King has reportedly lost two of his children in the space of just three weeks.
As reported by the New York Post's Page Six, sources say that the broadcaster's 65-year-old son Andy died suddenly a couple of weeks ago, and his 51-year-old daughter, Chaia, died Thursday after battling a chronic illness.
A source told the publication: "Larry and his three remaining children are distraught, and Larry’s still recovering from his own health issues from last year." (King suffered a "slight stroke" back in March 2019.)
Larry, 86, adopted Andy back in 1962 after he married his mother, Alene Akins. Larry and Alene had Chaia in 1969. Their mother passed away back in February of 2017.

In 1997, Larry and Chaia co-wrote a children's book together called Daddy Day, Daughter Day, in which they both gave their perspectives on his divorce from Akins.
Larry was actually married to Andy and Chaia's mother twice - once in 1961 until 1963, and again in 1967, with the couple divorcing once again in 1972
Following Alene's death in 2017, King tweeted the following tribute to his children's mother: "So very saddened over the passing of Alene Akins, who died peacefully with our children Chaia and Andy by her side. She was a grand lady."
