Influencer Emilie Kiser has revealed that she and her husband are expecting another baby together, a year after losing their three-year-old son.
As previously reported, Emilie's three-year-old son, Trigg, died after falling into the family's backyard pool on May 12, 2025.
Emilie, 27, was not at home at the time of the accident, while her husband, Brady Kiser, was caring for Teddy.
Tragically, the toddler died in hospital six days later, on May 18.
According to the Chandler Police Department, Brady initially reported losing sight of Trigg for three to five minutes before finding him in the pool.
Police later said video evidence showed the child had been unsupervised in the backyard for more than nine minutes and in the water for about seven minutes.
As well as their late son Trigg, Emilie and Brady are also parents to one-year-old son Teddy, and announced on Friday that they are expecting their third child.
Emilie shared the news on Instagram, posting a photo of her cradling her growing bump, as she told her followers: "We are so grateful and excited to share that we will be welcoming another baby into our family.
"This news feels very surreal and has already been such a bright light to us during some of our darkest days."
She added: "As I stated last year, my family’s privacy will always be my priority. Because of that, I’m not sure how much I will be sharing about this pregnancy and next phase of life, but I appreciate your understanding as I navigate those boundaries.
"This baby has already brought so much hope and joy into our home, and we are treasuring every moment of it together.
"Thank you in advance for all of the love, well wishes, and support as we navigate this next chapter of our growing family. Love you guys."
The happy news comes after Emilie revealed that she'd forgiven her husband over the tragic loss of Trigg.
Emilie revealed on Jay Shetty's On Purpose podcast: "This could have just as easily happened to me. This could have just as easily been me in Brady’s position.
"Brady was taking care of our newborn child. When I left for dinner that night, he was de-thawing my breast milk, trying to get Teddy settled, a five-week-old baby. That doesn’t excuse anything. It doesn’t excuse what happened.
"But taking that accountability, along with all the other things I know I could have changed, gave me so much true, deep, real, raw empathy for him of, this could have been me."
She also revealed that the couple went on to work with medical professionals to help them process the trauma of losing their son in such tragic circumstances.
Emilie has also shared several posts advocating for more awareness of the dangers of drowning for young children, saying on TikTok: "This is a topic that I will continue to talk about when I feel comfortable, because it is so extremely hard to talk about, and I hope that people can understand that.
"Our son's death was very preventable. It was an accident, but it was a preventable accident. I will always take full accountability for that, because as a parent, it is your job to protect your child."
She also highlighted the dangers drowning poses to young children, adding: "Drowning is the number one cause of death in children three and under. And that is an extremely hard statistic to swallow because I truly just can't believe how much it happens."
She urged parents to take extra precautions around pools and other bodies of water.
"I really hope that if you see this video, you please, please, please install a pool fence. Make sure you have door alarms. Make sure if you have door alarms, all of your batteries are updated. Please make sure that you watch your children around water."

Emergency responders were called to Emilie's family home near Chandler Heights and Cooper Roads in Chandler, Arizona, on May 12 following reports of a possible drowning.
When they arrived, first responders found lifesaving efforts already in progress. CPR was being performed before paramedics took over, The Sun reported.
The TikTok star's son, Trigg, was initially rushed to a nearby hospital, then airlifted to Phoenix Children’s Hospital due to the severity of his condition.
Despite extensive efforts to save him, the three-year-old boy died of his injuries six days later, officials confirmed to CBS affiliate KPHO-TV.
Authorities have stated the incident remains under investigation and have extended their condolences, saying no further details will be released to respect the family’s privacy.
The couple welcomed Trigg in July 2021 and celebrated his third birthday last July.
At the time, Emilie paid tribute to her son with a sweet post: “We are so lucky to have our Trigg. Happy Birthday to our favorite boy in the whole world, we can't wait for year 3."
She shared a photo of Trigg smiling and holding his new Hot Wheels collection, surrounded by balloons that spelled out “Happy Birthday".
The devastating loss comes just weeks after the parents welcomed their second child, Theodore. On March 29, Emilie shared the news on Instagram: "We love you so much and our hearts feel like they are going to burst." She added, "I am so grateful for a smooth delivery, a healthy baby, and the best husband."

In the days following the accident, Emilie's social media presence went silent.
As news of the incident spread, fans flooded the mom's final Instagram post, which was made six days before Trigg’s death, with messages of support and grief.
The post featured a photo montage captioned, "Love a good dump of photos and a good hair day," and among the images was a touching shot of her husband lying in bed with their late son and Teddy.

TikTok influencer, Emilie Kiser has spoken candidly about her grief nearly 10 months after the tragic loss of her three-year-old son, Trigg, while also urging other parents to take water safety seriously.
Kiser, who has established a following of 5.1 million on TikTok and two million followers on Instagram, provides fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and familial content to her adoring fans.
On Wednesday, March 18, the influencer shared emotional reflections on her Instagram Stories about the accident that happened last spring.
In May, her eldest son, Trigg, died in hospital following a drowning incident in the family’s backyard pool at the home she shares with her husband, Brady Kiser, and baby boy Teddy.
Reflecting on her child’s tragic death, Emilie described it as “a preventable drowning accident.”
She admitted that expressing her feelings has been incredibly difficult, writing: “I continue to feel like I have no words in what to say when I'm asked how I feel because the only adequate word is ‘broken.’
"I miss him so much. Everything about him.
"Especially the joy and light he brought to our home.”
She shared that she often sees reminders of Trigg in his younger brother, adding: “I see him in Teddy every single day, and that does bring me some level of peace, while also surfacing a lot of other emotions.”
In another post, Emilie explained that she tends to process her grief better through writing, even though she is used to speaking on camera as a content creator.
She conveyed the depth of her loss by saying: “It's impossible to describe to people the feeling of your entire life falling apart and knowing you will never feel whole again.
"But despite that, you have to keep going and get used to the new routine you're forced to live.”
She continued: “It will never feel normal and it will never feel the same. It will always be compared to what was before and what was perfect. He was perfect.”
Emilie ended her message by stressing the importance of awareness and prevention.
“It's apparent to everyone who has ever heard HIS story, that it was preventable,” she wrote, urging parents to install pool fences, add “multiple barriers,” and get their children “in swim lessons NOW & consistently.”
The 27-year-old, who has recently shared short vlogs of her vintage shopping and discussing hair routines, has continued to ensure her more trivial content doesn’t detract from the overriding message around the heartbreaking death of Trigg.
She closed with a final reminder: “Last but most certainly not least, always watch them around water,” adding: “I love you guys. I am always grateful for your [support] & your willingness to hear what I choose to share.”
Newly released police records reveal what happened in the hours leading up to the tragic death of Trigg Kiser, son of TikTok influencer Emilie Kiser.
On May 12, Trigg drowned in the family’s backyard pool in Chandler, Arizona, while under the care of his father, 28-year-old Brady Kiser.
Emilie was out with friends at the time, and Brady was home with Trigg and his newborn brother, Theodore.
According to a Chandler Police Department report obtained by People, surveillance footage shows Trigg playing on an inflatable chair by the pool before tripping and falling in at 6:32PM.
He was unsupervised in the backyard for more than nine minutes — seven of those in the water — before Brady found him at 6:39PM.
Authorities say Brady called 911 at 6:41PM and pulled Trigg from the pool before officers arrived and began CPR.
Paramedics rushed the toddler to Chandler Regional Hospital, then transferred him to Phoenix Children’s Hospital. He died six days later, on May 18.
Initially, Brady told investigators Trigg had been alone outside for just three to five minutes. But police say the video tells a different story.
“Brady's statements do not match what is seen on the video; he did not accurately describe one thing [Trigg] did after he went outside,” the report states.
“This leads to the conclusion that Brady was not aware of what [Trigg] was doing and was not watching him. The combination of these factors led to drowning, and a remedy to any of the contributing circumstances could have prevented the outcome.”
Adding to the scrutiny, investigators discovered that at 5:14PM — about 75 minutes before Trigg fell in — Brady placed a $25 bet on the Knicks-Celtics playoff game through DraftKings.
The wager, on Celtics star Jayson Tatum scoring over 40 points, won him $102.50 when Tatum scored 42.
Police concluded Brady’s attention was “divided” between childcare and the game, noting he was not watching Trigg “at all during the critical times mentioned.”
The report also revealed that the family owned a Katchakid mesh pool cover, but it was not in use that day. The Kisers told police it had recently been removed for swimming and never replaced.
The release of the report came after Emilie Kiser successfully petitioned the Arizona Superior Court for Maricopa County to remove two pages from the public record, censoring details tied to the original police recommendation for charges.
Judge Christopher Whitten sided with the family, writing: “The transcript on the disputed sections are not necessary for public accountability.
"Its disclosure would serve no purpose other than satisfying morbid curiosity.”
The Kisers’ attorney told E! News: “These redactions do not alter any material facts of the accident. But they protect the dignity of a little boy whose memory should reflect the love and light he brought to the world.”
TikTok star Emilie Kiser has issued a statement three months after the death of her three-year-old son, Trigg.
On May 12, three-year-old Trigg drowned in the family’s backyard pool in Chandler, Arizona. He was under the care of his father, Brady Kiser, while his mom, Emilie, was out with friends.
According to the Chandler Police Department, the influencer's son had been playing near an inflatable chair by the pool before he fell in. Surveillance footage confirmed that the fall was accidental, with the young boy remaining submerged for several minutes before being discovered.
Brady, distracted by their newborn son, did not realize Trigg was outside until he found him in the pool. Despite the father's immediate attempts at CPR and a rushed hospital visit, Trigg passed away six days later on May 18.
After three months of silence, Emilie, 26, returned to Instagram to share an emotional statement describing the loss as “impossible to put into words,” while also taking full accountability for the tragedy.
“Loss of this magnitude feels impossible to put into words,” her statement began. “I never thought we would experience grief in this way or the pain of losing him so suddenly.”
Calling her late son both her "baby and best friend," she expressed deep regret, writing: "One of the hardest lessons I carry is that a permanent pool fence could have saved his life, and it is something I will never overlook again."
In sharing her experience, she hopes "Trigg's story will help prevent other children and families from suffering the same loss".
The tragedy drew national attention due to the family's public profile, and the details of the incident have been scrutinized in police reports and news coverage.
A police investigation revealed that the content creator's husband was watching an NBA game and had placed a $25 bet on a Knicks-Celtics playoff game just an hour before the horrific incident, raising concerns about his divided focus.
Despite the findings, Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell confirmed in July that Brady won’t be charged because there is not a “reasonable likelihood of conviction".
“We are grateful to law enforcement and the county attorney for conducting a thorough investigation and confirming that this was a tragic accident,” Brady’s attorney, Flynn P. Carey, said in a statement to ABC News.
“Brady remains in the midst of the grieving process and is thankful to be with his family as they heal together. We appreciate the compassion and support shown during this difficult time," they added.
In addition to grieving, the TikTok star has taken legal action to protect her family’s privacy, particularly regarding the release of sensitive details about the investigation.
In her court filings, Emilie expressed deep concern over the potential public exposure of images or video footage from the tragic event. "Viewing or knowing others could view these images forces me to relive the worst moment of my life," she wrote, describing how these details would hinder her ability to heal.
In her first public statement, Emilie said that while she has grown to love and appreciate her online audience, she plans to be more discerning going forward.
“When I started on social media in 2021 as a new mom, my goal was to connect with other moms and find a community,” she wrote.
And while she said she found that “and so much more,” Emilie noted: “I have now seen through this tragedy how relationships online lack boundaries, especially in protecting children’s privacy. “Moving forward, I will be establishing more boundaries with what I share online.”
The 26-year-old also confirmed that her family has received strong support as they cope with the immense loss.
She expressed a desire to eventually share more about her grief journey but, for now, concluded with a heartfelt message: “All I can say is thank you for the love, compassion, patience, and space you've given us to grieve."
