Katy Perry was forced to name the celebrity ex she thought was the 'best in bed'
Katy Perry was once forced to answer a question most celebrities would probably prefer to avoid: which of her famous exes was the "best in bed"?
The pop superstar has had several high-profile romances over the years, including relationships with John Mayer, Diplo, and Orlando Bloom.
In 2017, Perry did a livestream with James Corden, and was put on the spot when he asked her to rank the three men "from best to worst in bed. This is working on the notion that they're all good."
The 'Teenage Dream' songstress initially refused to play along, exclaiming: "No! They're all amazing lovers and I would have sex with all of them after I get out of this [livestream]!"
But the TV host eventually got an answer out of her.
Perry put Mayer in first place, followed by Bloom in second place and Diplo in third.
Perry went on to spend years with Orlando Bloom
While Mayer took the number one spot in the 'Fireworks' hitmaker's ranking, the Pirates of the Caribbean actor went on to become one of the most important relationships in her life.
Perry and Bloom were together from 2016 until 2025, becoming engaged and welcoming their daughter, Daisy.
The couple separated in 2025, a year Perry has since confessed was difficult both personally and professionally.
"Last year was really hard," she told PEOPLE. "I learned how to step back into my purpose."
At the same time, Perry was dealing with the negative reception to her album 143 and heading out on her Lifetimes Tour.
Perry says she has now found the 'love of my life'
Perry later began a relationship with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who separated from his wife, Sophie Grégoire, in 2023.
She revealed that she first connected with Trudeau while touring in Canada and has now described him as the "love of my life".
"I got the greatest gift from this tour," she said. "I got to meet the love of my life."
Perry shared that she is a huge believer in manifestation and says that this mindful practise is, in her eyes, exactly what brought her and Trudeau together at exactly the right time.
She wrote down a list of all the things she wanted to achieve and experience in 2026 last August. At the very end of the list is the final entry - "true love".
"I had to let it go so I could move forward," she explained. "I always wanted this epic legendary love, and I was talking to my therapist about it: Everything in my life is epic, but this is kind of the missing puzzle piece - then it showed up.”
