Kelly Osbourne has snapped back at "cruel" trolls who "dehumanized" her over her appearance at the 2026 Brit Awards.
The 41-year-old attended the prestigious ceremony with her mother, Sharon Osbourne, to accept a Lifetime Achievement Award on behalf of her father, Ozzy Osbourne.
Following the event, Osbourne faced harsh criticism about her body on social media, which prompted her to share a statement about the "cruelty and dehumanization" she’s experienced.
"There is a special kind of cruelty in harming someone who is clearly going through something," she penned on her Instagram Story. "Kicking me while I’m down, doubting my pain, spreading my struggles as gossip, and turning your back when I need support and love most."
The former View co-host wrote that she is "currently going through the hardest time in my life," adding: "I should not even have to defend myself. But I won’t sit here and allow myself to be dehumanized in such a way!"
She reminded her followers that doubting her pain and spreading her struggles as gossip only reveals a "profound absence of compassion".
This isn’t the first time Osbourne has faced public criticism about her body. Last month, she shared pictures from Clive Davis’ annual pre-Grammy gala, where she reflected on the emotional tribute to her father.
"About last night! Firstly I want to thank @clivejdavis for organizing such a beautiful tribute to my father! @jellyroll615 had me baling my eyes out with his rendition on 'Mumma I’m coming home!' @machinegunkelly killed it with 'I don’t wanna stop,'" she penned.
"Secondly I want to thank my friends @yungblud @jessejostark @xomgitsbunnie and @charlotteslawrence for holding me close when I felt most vulnerable! It was my first big event since my father’s passing, and I did not know if I could do it but they got me through!"
"I love them all so much! It was a beautiful night filled with my beautiful family and friends! ❣️ps I though my mum looked gorgeous!" she added.
Despite the touching tribute, fans couldn’t help but focus on her hands, claiming they seemed disproportionate to the rest of her body.
"What the hell is going on with her hands?" one fan commented, while another wrote, "Omg she looks so skinny that her hands look bigger than her waist."
While online attention fixated on her physical appearance, Osbourne has been open about the toll her father’s death has taken on her, both mentally and physically.
Speaking to PEOPLE at the Grammys, she admitted, "I won’t lie...I won’t be one of those people that say I’m fine because I’m not."
Ozzy, the Black Sabbath frontman, passed away in July 2025 at the age of 76.
His family shared the news in a statement, saying: “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning."
"He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time," they added.
Eight months after his passing, the late rocker's daughter revealed that she has leaned on her loved ones for support through her grief.
"That’s the hardest thing I’ve ever been through in my life. But I have my man, and I have my gorgeous baby, and my mom and my brother, and I so bonded. I didn’t think we could ever get more bonded, but we did," she said.
