Kim Kardashian revealed during a recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that her boyfriend Pete Davidson got her name "branded" on his chest.

On Wednesday, the 41-year-old reality star opened up about her relationship with the 28-year-old SNL comic, with whom she has been romantically linked since October 2021.

When Ellen suggested to Kim that there were rumors that Pete had recently gotten a tattoo of the SKIMS founder's first name, Kim pointed out that it actually isn't a tattoo - it's a "branding."

"Yeah, he has a few tattoos — a few cute ones, you know, that he got," Kim told the host. "But the 'Kim' one isn't a tattoo. It's actually a branding."

She went on to say: "Because — let me explain it — because he wanted to do something that was really different, ‘cause, like, K, first tattoo he got, I was like, 'Oh, so cute, thank you, oh my god.' You know, second, whatever, I'm like, ‘Oh, that’s so cute,' but, like, that's what tattoo people do, right?

"Like, they get tattoos of what's going on their life. I just think he was like, 'I want something that's there that I can't, you know, get rid of my tattoos,' 'cause he's in the process of getting rid of his arm tats and his neck tats. So he's like, ‘I don’t want to be able to get rid of it or to cover it up, and I just wanted it there as, like, a scar on me."

When Ellen tried to work out how many tattoos Pete has gotten in Kim's honor, the billionaire entrepreneur suggests that he has "a little more than" three, with the others being ink tattoos as opposed to brandings.

Kim then shared which of Pete's tattoos is her favorite.

"The other ones are, like, cutesy things," she said. "My favorite one, it says, ‘My girl is a lawyer.’ And that one’s really cute.”

In December 2021, Kim passed the California "baby bar" exam and is expected to sit the main bar exam later this year.
