Kristen Bell praises Dax Shepard as he shaves his hair off so he can match daughter

Last May, Kristen Bell revealed that Lincoln, her then-six-year-old daughter whom she shares with husband Dax Shepard, had made an off-the-cuff request to have her hair shaved off.

The Good Place actress then added that she and Dax gave their daughter full permission to have one side of her head shaved (something that not a lot of parents would have agreed to).

Now, Dax himself has revealed that he wanted to twin with his daughter and so gave himself the exact same haircut.

The Hit And Run actor was even kind enough to give fans a peek of the process, uploading a video yesterday in which he proceeds to shave a chunk of his hair off.

He captioned the video: "Thank you [Sara Bareilles] for giving my daughters an anthem. She requested a specific haircut a few days ago, and now I want to match her."

Reposting Dax's video, wife Kristen had nothing but praise for her husband, wroting in the caption: "I love this man so much. He wanted to twin with our daughter."

The 40-year-old actress spoke openly about her daughter's sudden desire to get an edgy new haircut last year.

"My oldest daughter shaved the side of her head a couple of weeks ago. I gave her permission," Kristen said during a Q&A session, according to People. "She just woke up one morning and was like, ‘I need to shave this whole side right here.’ "And I was like, ‘What?’ ‘It’s got to be buzzed.'

"And I was like, ‘I’ve never been, nor will I ever be, that cool to shave the side of my head.’

"And she did it, and she rocks it and she loves it. And she even said, ‘I need a little trim. It’s getting long.’ And I was like, ‘Oh, you’re just like a skater girl. That’s so cool.’ "

Kristen and Daz have two daughters together, Lincoln, now aged seven, and Delta aged five.

Earlier this year, Kristen revealed that her youngest daughter still wears diapers at the age of five.

Speaking to Maya Rudolph and Casey Wilson on her podcast, Momsplaining, Kristen explained, per E!:

"My oldest daughter at 21 months, we merely suggested that she use the toilet in the other room.

"[She] never wore another diaper beyond that. And we were lying in bed giggling, my husband and I were like, 'Why does everyone make a big deal out of this potty training? It’s so easy. Just tell the kid to use the toilet.'"

This technique certainly didn't work on Kristen's youngest daughter though, with the actress revealing: "currently, my youngest is five and a half, still in diapers."

Keeping it real and having fun while doing it. These two really are parenting goals!
