Kylie Jenner has been sued by her former housekeeper for alleged discrimination.
Angelica Hernandez Vasquez has claimed in the lawsuit, filed last week, that she was subjected to harassment, discrimination, and retaliation while working at the reality TV star’s Los Angeles home from September 2024 to August 2025.
Vasquez is now seeking punitive damages and restitution damages "in the form of unpaid wages, meal and rest period premium pay, unreimbursed business expenses, unpaid sick leave, and all other compensation unlawfully withheld," per PEOPLE.
Vasquez identifies as a "Salvadoran woman and a practicing Catholic," per The Independent.
Although Jenner’s name is not specifically mentioned for any direct offensive actions in the court documents, she is listed as a defendant alongside Tri Star Services and Maison Family Services, the companies associated with the house.
The lawsuit alleges that the housekeeper was "routinely assigned the most difficult and undesirable tasks; excluded from the housekeeping team; publicly belittled and humiliated in front of coworkers due to her race, national origin and religion; and subjected to intimidation and demeaning treatment".
Vasquez claims that her coworkers routinely snapped their fingers at her, mocked her accent, forced her to complete others’ work, and treated her as inferior due to her Salvadoran background.
The complaint details several instances where Vasquez was belittled in front of her colleagues, which caused her emotional distress.
According to the filing, the conflict escalated in March 2025 when a supervisor allegedly threw hangers at Vasquez’s feet during a confrontation.
Vasquez asserts that she reported these incidents of harassment to both the Kylie Cosmetics founder and the involved companies, but her complaints were ignored, mocked, or dismissed, with "no corrective action" taken.
In addition to the harassment, Vasquez alleges that she was frequently ordered to work at Jenner’s boyfriend’s residence, likely referring to Timothée Chalamet’s Beverly Hills home.
However, she claims she was not reimbursed for transportation expenses incurred during these assignments.
Vasquez has revealed that she suffered financial loss due to her complaints about the alleged mistreatment, and that she developed "anxiety, severe stress, and symptoms consistent with post-traumatic stress disorder".
This mental health decline led to her taking medical leave in July 2025, with her resignation following a month later in August.
She resigned the following month because "the working conditions had become intolerable".
