There's no doubt that Mean Girls is one of the most beloved comedies ever made. It has a stellar cast, a relatable story, and is so quotable that nearly everyone knows the whole script off by heart. There was a sequel, but very few people involved in the original movie featured, and most fans see it as nothing more than a pale imitation of the first installment. But if you're a major Mean Girls fan then I have some good news for you: actress Lindsay Lohan, who played the original protagonist Cadie way back in 2004, has opened up about the possibility of starring in a sequel in a brand-new interview! I think I was hanging on to [Mean Girls] for a really long time." She continued: "I wanted to come back with a Mean Girls 2. To work with Tina [Fey], and the whole crew again, and [director] Mark Waters. That was really what I wanted. I was excited to do that. But that's all in their hands really. So that would definitely be an exciting thing." The stuff that was pent up in me as a teenage girl is all in the show."
