YouTuber Logan Paul has defended former One Direction member Harry Styles' choice to wear a dress in the singer's recent appearance on the cover of Vogue.
Per CNN, Styles has now become Vogue's first-ever male cover model and marked the milestone by donning a black Gucci jacket and long green dress for his appearance in the fashion magazine's December issue.
Take a look at this video of Harry cheering on Lizzo as she chugs tequila:

Commenting on his love of fashion, Styles told Vogue: "What's really exciting is that all of these lines are just kind of crumbling away."
"When you take away: 'There's clothes for men and there's clothes for women,' once you remove any barriers, obviously you open up the arena in which you can play. [sic]"

He added: "Any time you're putting barriers up in your own life, you're just limiting yourself. I think if you get something that you feel amazing in, it's like a superhero outfit. Clothes are there to have fun with and experiment with and play with."

Although many praised Styles' sartorial choices, the 26-year-old singer's Vogue cover was met with criticism from a vocal minority of commentators.
For instance, right-wing pundit Candace Owens tweeted:
"There is no society that can survive without strong men. The East knows this. In the west, the steady feminization of our men at the same time that Marxism is being taught to our children is not a coincidence. It is an outright attack. Bring back manly men. [sic]"

However, in a recent discussion on the subject on his podcast Impaulsive, the vlogger and influencer praised Harry's decision to wear a dress. Per Buzzfeed, he asked his co-host Mike Majlak:
"What is 'manly' to you? What does it mean? Is 'manly' being comfortable in your own skin, and being comfortable with who you are, regardless of what people think about what you're wearing?

He continued:
"You guys are making it something it's not. You're the type of people who will look at it and be like: 'No, men gotta be men and they can't wear dresses!' Suck a d**k, bro. I would do this in a heartbeat."
"I saw this cover, and I said, that's something I would do. If someone was like: 'Yo, would you want to make a statement and wear a dress on the cover of Vogue as a man?' I'd say: 'Yeah, sure.'"
He added:
"Then if Candace Owens said: 'bring back manly men because Logan did this,' I'd go, 'What about me is not manly to you, Candace?' So my question is, what about Harry is not manly, that warrants her making that statement?"
When footage from the discussion hit social media, a number of Twitter users tweeted their shock at agreeing with Logan Paul's opinion.

However, Logan Paul isn't the only celebrity to defend Harry Styles. Actress Olivia Wilde also stepped forward to hit back at Owens for her comments.
