Pierce Brosnan showcased his romantic side as he commemorated his wife Keely Shaye Brosnan’s milestone 60th birthday with 60 exquisite roses this Monday.
At 70, the iconic James Bond star radiated love and joy as he shared a delightful snapshot on Instagram, featuring himself alongside his radiant wife of 22 years and the grand bouquet of roses.
The beloved couple, who first met in 1994 in Cabo San Lucas, later exchanged vows in a beautiful wedding ceremony in Ireland in 2001.
"Sixty roses for my brown-eyed girl on her 60th birthday," the actor lovingly penned in his post. Recounting their first meeting, Brosnan added: "Forever happy and blessed was I to be sitting there when you walked around the corner early one morning in Cabo San Lucas."
Throughout their relationship, the couple now share two children - Dylan, 26, and Paris, 22. The actor also has three children from his previous marriage with the late actress Cassandra Harris.
Brosnan, a man of many talents, recently unveiled his inaugural solo art exhibition, So Many Dreams, in Los Angeles. The eclectic collection, featuring a mix of paintings, drawings, and a short documentary, mirrors his artistic journey and passion. He opened up about his connection to art in a conversation with Vanity Fair, citing it as a source of solace during stressful times.
"I have been painting since '87 and it's very therapeutic. Whenever I feel angst, I'll go to the canvas. It brings me comfort and it's just so joyful," he shared.
The star, currently residing with Keely in Kauai, Hawaii, also revealed his lifelong affinity for the sea. "I have fond memories of the seaside. So when I dropped into America in the 1980s, there was only one place to be – and that was on the coast," he reflected.
For those unaware of Smith's career, she first appeared on screen in a Huey Lewis and the News music video, for the 1986 track 'Stuck with You' (which spent three weeks at number one).
She then went on to land minor roles in popular TV shows, such as starring as Valerie Freeman for a season of General Нospital back in 1990.
An accomplished journalist and activist, Smith has also won multiple awards for her six-year stint as an environmental correspondent for ABC's The Home Show. And between 1995 and 1997, she was a correspondent for NBC's primetime hit show Unsolved Mysteries - perhaps most recognizable for appearing in the show's "phone center".

Earlier this year, the popular couple turned heads and wowed as they arrived to the 2023 Met Gala.
