Ryan Reynolds had the perfect response to a hilariously awkward question by a young fan at a recent Q&A.
At a press conference for his Netflix movie, The Adam Project, Reynolds was asked about a scene in which he kisses co-star Zoe Saldana.
A young boy took to the mic and asked Reynolds: "In the scene where you were kissing the girl, was that real?"
Not expecting the question, Reynolds, who is married to fellow actor Blake Lively, initially responded: "Whoah!"
The moderator then joked: “Blake is really throwing her voice well by the way,” to which Reynolds joked: “Honey? What the f–?”
Check out the funny exchange here:“I guess it was kind of real,” he continued. “How do I answer this? This is being broadcast everywhere too… I didn’t mean it?”
“This is the thing, I don’t know how to explain this to my own kids. They watch this and they’re like, ‘Daddy, what are you doing?’ Like it’s exactly the tactic that I would use on them… not anger, but just disappointment.”
He added in jest: “Great question, though. The exit is that way.”
Reynolds and Gossip Girl alum Blake Lively have been married for nine years. They tied the knot on September 9, 2012, and have since welcomed three daughters: James, 7, Inez, 5, and Betty, 2.
In an interview with Access, the Deadpool star said he loves being a “girl Dad”.
“I have three daughters which I never in a million years would have imagined,” he said. “I have three brothers… for me to have three daughters is just such a ride and I love every second of it.”
He also spoken about how much time he spends with his family despite a presumably hectic schedule.
“I try to be as present as possible,” Reynolds said. ‘We don’t split up. I shoot movies and my wife shoots movies and we travel all over the place and we just all go together. That’s been the best part of it, we really don’t spend a lot of time apart. I get to spend a lot of time with my girls.”
