Sharon Stone makes steamy confession about love scene with Robert DeNiro that was so good she asked to do it again
Sharon Stone has shared a jaw-dropping confession about filming an intimate scene with Robert De Niro.
The Hollywood icon didn’t hold back as she reflected on their chemistry in the 1995 crime film Casino, which was directed by Martin Scorsese.
The film follows mobster Sam ‘Ace’ Rothstein (played by De Niro) as he oversees the Tangiers Casino in Las Vegas.
Stone's Steamy Confession
The 68-year-old actress called De Niro "the best kisser in the business" during an appearance on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy.
Stone described how the kiss came together while filming a scene where her character, Ginger McKenna, manipulates De Niro’s character into giving her money.
"We did this scene where I have to go to the bathroom, and because I play this hustler, I get him to give me money to go," she explained. "He gives me this money, and I look at him like, 'Really? I think a little more than $50 for the bathroom.' And he reaches in, and he gives me, like, $100, and then I lean over, and I kiss him."
The kiss clearly left an impression as the actress recalled how the now-82-year-old "knocked [her] out" with the moment.
This prompted both actors to jump at the chance for another take when Scorsese said he had what he needed. "We both looked at him and went, 'Yeah, I think maybe we need one more.'"
The Total Recall actress has praised the kiss before, previously saying De Niro was "for sure" and "far and away the best kisser" in Hollywood.
"There was just so much attached to it, but I was just so madly in love with him,” Stone said in a past interview. "He probably could have hit me in the head with a hammer and I would have been like, ‘Oh yeah!'"
Stone’s openness about her work comes as her past performances continue to spark discussion decades later, particularly her role in Basic Instinct.
The 1992 film became one of the most talked-about thrillers of its time, largely due to its provocative interrogation scene in which her character, Catherine Tramell, crosses her legs while being questioned by police.
The moment became one of the most iconic scenes in movie history and one of the most paused scenes of the 1990s.
More than three decades later, Stone attempted to recreate the scene by sharing a modern version with the caption: "Basically yours..." on social media. However, the post was later deleted without explanation.
Despite the controversy surrounding the movie, Stone has since suggested that its explicit content is mild compared to today’s standards.
"People are walking around with no clothes on at all on regular TV now, and you saw maybe like a 16th of a second of possible nudity of me," she said.
