Tammy Slaton has hit back at a social media troll who made a comment about her "chin flap", showing that she is sick of the cruel comments.

With a massive following of 1.2 million on TikTok, Slaton isn't mincing her words when it comes to shutting down body shamers.

Rising to fame through the television show 1000-lb Sisters, Tammy's story from battling her weight to reclaiming her life has riveted audiences.

In 2023, Tammy revealed a nearly 400-lb weight loss, per The US Sun. Her triumphant strides included standing and walking unassisted but she still had to use an oxygen tube to support her breathing.

Responding to a question about her "chin flap" in a recent video, Slaton made it clear that it's actually excess skin and will be dealt with through surgery.

"My 'chin flap' is not a chin flap. It's literally excess skin and yes, it will go away when I get skin removal surgery," she asserted.

Expressing her frustration with the barrage of hurtful comments she receives, Slaton emphasized: "My problem is, you say you're not trying to be rude, yet you're rude by asking and pointing it out."

In a heartfelt plea, Slaton opened up about the toll these comments take on her mental health, admitting: "I'm very insecure. I hide it, I hide it because I don't want people to think I'm weak and I truly am weak."

Turning the tables on her critics, Slaton questioned their motives, asking: "if it would bother you, then why would you do it to someone else?"

Highlighting the serious impact of online hate, Slaton warned her followers: "The least little bit of hate can send somebody over the edge and want to kill themselves," sharing her own struggles with suicidal thoughts in the past.

People offered their support in the comments, with one person saying: "Don’t worry about them! You are doing amazing and loose skin is a part of that success. You saved your life!"

A second said: "I absolutely love you you’ve come so far in your weight loss journey."

Slaton often has supporters, as some called her an "inspiration" last summer when she shared pictures of her weight loss.

Slaton shared a candid mirror selfie, symbolizing the incredible strides she has made in her journey towards a healthier lifestyle.

The heartfelt comments pouring in from fans show the impact of Slaton's journey on individuals facing similar struggles. One supporter wrote: "You look amazing Tammy we have watched all [your] shows. You really are an inspiration." Another expressed gratitude, stating: "Tammy! You’ve inspired me so much... You inspired me to lose over 200 pounds! Thank You."

Tragically, earlier in 2023, Tammy faced another blow with the passing of her husband, Caleb Willingham, at the age of 40. In a heartfelt statement, she shared her devastation, describing Caleb as her "best friend" and "guardian angel."

TLC, the network that catapulted Tammy into the limelight, also extended condolences, acknowledging the profound loss. Amid her grief, Tammy honored Caleb's memory with a poignant message: "Rip sweet angel you will forever be missed and loved so much thank you Caleb for showing me real love and happiness."
