Woman caught on Coldplay kiss cam makes bombshell claim about former CEO and it could change everything
The woman who was caught on Coldplay’s viral kiss cam has made a bombshell claim about the former CEO.
Kristin Cabot, who was filmed cuddling Astronomer CEO Andy Byron during a packed stadium show in July 2025, opened up about the now-infamous clip during a recent interview on Oprah Winfrey's podcast.
Cabot revealed that she and Byron are no longer in contact, saying their relationship fell apart months after the scandal.
"There was a big miss on honesty and integrity," she said.
"He wasn't the person he represented himself to be, to me - and lying is a non-negotiable for me."
Cabot chose not to go into full detail about what happened, but said: "I wanna be really careful, because the world spoke for me and on my behalf, and I don't wanna do that to somebody else and their family.
"But I will say a lot of what was represented to me was not true."
According to Cabot, she had been in the process of divorcing her husband for more than a month at the time, while Byron had led her to believe he was also separated from his wife, something she said she "unequivocally" believed when she invited him to the concert.
The Text Message That Changed Everything
In a further twist, Cabot revealed a previously unknown detail about the night that has stunned viewers.
"I was walking into the concert, and my daughter messaged me and said, 'Oh, it’s so great that you and Andrew (Cabot) are both at Coldplay.'
"So she let me know that my estranged husband was also at the concert," she said.
She admitted the thought briefly crossed her mind about running into him: "In my mind, I thought, well, is this going to be weird if he sees me with Andy? Like that crossed my mind. If I run into him."
"But then I was like, I’m in Gillette Stadium, there’s 55 thousand people here, I’m probably not going to run into him," she said.
"But it doesn’t matter... that would’ve been better at the end of the day if I’d just run into him, but he knows how closely Andy and I work together. He knows we socially got lunches and got drinks. It was fine."
"He knows the nature of my work and the way (I work). I’ve shared desks with the CEOs I work with. It’s a very close relationship so it didn’t matter," she added.
The Viral Moment That Cost Them Everything
The scandal erupted when Chris Martin spotted the pair on the stadium screen and joked: "Either they’re having an affair, or they’re just very shy."
Footage showed Cabot attempting to cover her face while Byron reacted in panic, later saying: "F****** hell, it’s me."
The clip racked up millions of views within hours, with widespread backlash fueled by the belief that the pair were cheating on their partners.
Both later resigned from Astronomer, with the company stating: "Our leaders are expected to set the standard… and recently, that standard was not met."
Cabot said the fallout hit her especially hard, claiming Byron stayed silent while she faced intense scrutiny and even death threats.
“I was left holding the bag - being the one that was attacked for this and he’s [Byron] remained silent," she told Oprah. "To me, that's not a quality that I would look for in a friend or a partner or a boss."
She also reflected on the reaction much more in an interview with The New York Times, saying: "What I’ve seen these last months makes it harder for me to believe that it’s all about the men holding us back. I think we are holding ourselves back tremendously by cutting each other down."
Despite the global attention, Byron has never publicly addressed the incident, though Cabot claimed he has continued to receive job offers in the aftermath.
