Social media users are in uproar after Chris Brown seemingly congratulated Rihanna on her pregnancy-revealing Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show.

On Sunday night (February 12), the 34-year-old music star took center stage in the Halftime Show for the Super Bowl where fans immediately began speculating whether the singer was pregnant.

The Barbados native performed a medley of her greatest hits including 'Where Have You Been', 'Rude Boy', and 'Diamonds,' and opened the show with her iconic 'B***h Better Have My Money'.

The Fenty Beauty founder donned a PVC bustier and an unzipped bright red jumpsuit that unveiled her baby bump. After she was spotted cradling and caressing her tummy during her performance, her rep confirmed that she is expecting her second baby with A$AP Rocky.

Just before the 'Only Girl In The World' superstar took the stage, her 33-year-old ex-boyfriend Chris Brown - who she famously dated over a decade ago - took to his Instagram Stories to show his support for Rihanna.

The 'Under The Influence' musician wrote: "GO GIRL," alongside a red heart and praying-hands emojis, just moments after Rihanna performed a decades-spanning medley of her bangers and announced that she is expecting her second child.

Upon seeing his post, many fans took to their social media pages to slam Brown for his message to his former partner, as one user wrote: "He foul."

Another user said: "GET A JOB!! STAY AWAY FROM HER!!"

A third chimed in and commented: "Does anyone find it creepy that Chris Brown is always hyping Rihanna up like he didn’t bash her face in and literally abuse her??? or is it just me??? yall are weird for supporting this man…"

A fourth user remarked: "Chris Brown posting a story saying 'Go girl' during Rihanna's halftime show is one of the grossest things I've ever seen."

This isn't the first time Brown has shown public support for the 'Love on the Brain' vocalist. Last May, he seemingly congratulated Rihanna and her boyfriend, A$AP Rocky, on the birth of their first child, a baby boy.

He wrote: "Congratulations," on his Instagram Story and added the emojis of a red heart, a pregnant woman, and praying hands.

However, fans are criticizing the 'Loyal' singer as when the former celebrity couple dated in 2007 and broke up two years later, it was revealed that Brown had physically assaulted Rihanna ahead of the 2009 Grammys.

He pleaded guilty to felony assault and was sentenced to five years of probation. The pair then got back together in 2012 and dated for approximately another year before finally splitting up for good.

Rihanna called the brief reconciliation a "mistake" in a 2013 interview with Rolling Stone, saying: "I decided it was more important for me to be happy.

"I wasn’t going to let anybody’s opinion get in the way of that. […] After being tormented for so many years, being angry and dark, I’d rather just live my truth," she added.

In Brown's 2017 documentary titled, Welcome to My Life, he shared that the 'What's My Name' hitmaker "didn’t trust" him after the assault and they would "fight each other," per Daily Mail.

The 'Kiss Kiss' singer has now moved on and started his own family. He is the father of three children, Royalty, eight, Aeko, three, and Lovely, one, with three different women.
